You guys missed the whole wedding conversation in the last episode (on the bathroom floor). Lumen explained to Dex that she left on the day of her wedding because she realized that it wasn’t what she wanted. Also (not related) but Yasmine’s mother is Tina in The Bear (rectification thank you Darg 😂) for those who watch the show (on top of being Angel’s wife).

Great episode it definitely made me like lumen and Dexter more. I honestly see them as a couple it’s kinda cute in a serial killer way. And yeah I’m pretty done with Maria, she does something horrible then she acts all happy and kind then she does something awful again. No one hurts Deb like that I’ll kill them

It’s so interesting to see Dexter like this. I really love their dynamic together. Dexter is helping Lumen heal, and Lumen is doing the same for him.

Yasmin's mother and her aren't related irl, but she is actually the wife of Angel! (the mother, not Jasmin). I checked imdb as I was curious myself. Also, Lumen explained to Dex in an earlier episode that she came to Miami after leaving her fiance at the alter. I think was when they were having breakfast when he was giving her a ticket to go home? or somewhere around that timeline.

Lumen had already told Dexter about Owen and running away from her wedding, at the end of episode 6, when she and Dexter were sitting and talking on the floor of Rita’s bathroom. It wasn’t new information for Dexter.
