I think he was calling Astor mama, because he did it again later in the car. We presumed it was addressed to Lumen. Astor probably reminded him of Rita, it makes sense.

Quinn had to know how Deb would react to him going after Dexter. Knowing how close they are. Even being right... did he think she'd thank him for it? Obviously not, or he wouldn't have hidden it from her. It's just so illogically stupid given that Quinn has always cared about Deb. Trying to be with her while trying to take down her brother makes no sense to me. Something he should've realized much, much sooner.

I love seeing Dexter as the hero for once, without putting someone on his table for a change. And I think there is another scene like that in season 6, a weird season, but which i liked it better than the 5th.

Wow Astor really looked different I didn’t even know it was her at first. I love how lumen was helping take care of them but holy shit having the baby call her mom in front of Astor, that had my jaw dropped good on her for being 100% honest though. I’m glad Dexter beat that asshole dad into the ground that shit was satisfying

A great episode here, I was so happy to see Astor & Dex that close, they both needed it. The end gave me chills.

Dan the dentist is the one they've already killed. He was the one Lumen took to the the factory and shot, and then Dex finished him off and staged the funny scene with the guy wrapped in clingwrap.
