I felt for Quinn for the very first time here. Poor guy got rejected the same day he discovered his « ex » is going to be his boss. What a shitty day 😂

Same, I love that he is brutally honest and doesn’t try to pretend he is now perfect. This duo is going to be so interesting. The writers always find a way to make his season so unique.

I like the addition of Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def), particularly in parallel with the new villainous duo. The concept of an ex-con coming to repentance and changing his life around is something that is hard for Dexter to comprehend given his belief in the "dark passenger." I do like how Brother Sam admits that the violence is still in him and he is constantly battling it.

Brother Sam is such a great character!
James
It gave me Dexter and Debra vibes for some reason

Another great episode. I’m loving all the characters. I’m happy for Masuka he could use a woman in his life.
Janet
Absolutely love the character of Brother Sam! Played by rapper Mos Def who changed his name to Yasmin Bey. Don't know what his name is now but I think he was great!
Janet
The actress who plays the sister had a prominent role in "Deadwood" - an amazing series!
Janet
A very interesting brother/sister relationship with one being a serial killer comparison.

In case you missed the very American reference - when Dexter says to Deb "your initials (should you marry Quinn" would be DQ. It refers to the very American countrywide franchise Dairy Queen, LOL
