I think the whole 'Gellar hitting Travis in the face with a shovel', etc... are just metaphorical for the darker Gellar delusion taking over Travis.

Episode 4 is when I told my better half that I didn't think Gellar was real. Two scenes with the waitress made it very suspect. At the diner, the waitress never even has a passing glance at 'Gellar' in the booth... only interacts with Travis. And after the wasitress is tied up in Travis' kitchen... she only looks terrified at Travis, even though Gellar supposedly did this to her and was beside her. After that, it's easy to see that Gellar never interacts with anyone other than Travis... and often suddenly appears out of nowhere.

For some reason I forgot about this twist but yeh the only weird thing I picked up on and questioned was how did an old man like Gellar knock out and drag around a full grown man but it being Travis makes much more sense.

Travis probably has multiple personalities, so it's harder to pick on this reveal. Also, the girl that has been captured, and then released by Travis, said she heard 2 men, that's why a lot of people ( me included ) didn't think about him do this all alone; he was chained up when Dexter found him at the church ( hard to do it by yourself, but not impossible, of course). There was an instance before, at a restaurant, when a waitress pours coffee for Travis and ignores Gellar...like he is not even there; the professor missing for 3 years I think, no one (except Travis ) have seen him. A lot of pros and cons, I for sure was fooled the first time i watched the show.

I don’t know how I didn’t see that twist coming at all. It came out of absolutely no where, Travis needs to go. Great episode though. The whole chair joke actually had me laughing a bit

I can't be the only person who wasn't too sad to see that d-bag professor killed...he's the type of guy who makes atheists look bad. Also, I prefer a comfy couch to a chair or table...

I was eager for your reaction to the reveal! lol he's like Dexter's Harry, but going the opposite direction. Also, your theory that Debra might be into Dexter a bit... yeah that would make things even more confusing and fucked up for Deb.
