I agree I think Frank’s storyline is the best part of the season and even after almost 10 years I eat up every Frank and Karen interaction, but also props to Foggy for really stepping up and reminding everyone it’s NELSON and MURDOCK. All that being said, I think Elodie Yung actually does really well getting the toxic and manipulative nature of Elektra across screen on top of also doing most of her own stunts. Matt and her are obviously toxic for each other, remember they were together for a while before she pushed too hard when she tried to get him to kill Sweeney, but Matt was along for the ride up until then. She’s meant to bring out the “worst” in Matt and because he’s already in this moral dilemma with his vigilantism he’s vulnerable to fall back into this darker nature, where he—among other things— skirts his responsibilities to his team. Yes, FOGGY is absolutely justified in being angry with him there’s no argument there, but the reason Matt is so easily is swayed is because as season 1 proved he’s taken it upon himself to follow and fight the shadows that only the devil can see.

Who would've thought that a couple conversations with a guy strapped to a hospital bed would be more interesting than a heist. Also yeah, Nelson and Murdock were pretty darn lucky that Karen was framed for the murder of her co-worker - they wouldn't be half as successful otherwise...

I love Frank’s storyline. Fascinating character, and wonderful performance by Jon Bernthal. I’m really enjoying his scenes with Karen. The problem I have with season 2 is Elektra’s storyline. I don’t like the character, and while she’s undeniably beautiful, I think the actress playing her is the weakest actress on the entire show. I also dislike that they’re making Matt look weak by how easily he’s allowing her to manipulate him. Foggy is completely justified in being furious with him.
