Seems like you guys didn't know that Andre is played by Malcolm Jamal Warner who famously played Theo Huxtable on the Cosby Show. In the show, Bill Cosby was known for wearing sweaters like that so the comment that he got it from his dad is a reference to that.

Annie is actually turning 20 at about this point. Troy and Annie graduated in the same high school class. Which is why Annie believed they shared the same birth year (1990)... until Troy realizes he's a year older. As Troy turned 21... Annie would soon turn 20, though unseen, a couple of weeks later.

The bar episode was surprisingly wholesome definitely a unique episode. The Christmas special was funny I liked how it was like Abed’s delusion as an excuse to use that art style. Jeff’s forehead in animation was so extra it was funny for some reason.

Can't beat the magic & melancholy in the inspired homage to the Rankin/Bass stop-motion Christmas specials. That they're the Island of Misfit Toys who aren't alone because they are their own little family. I'm a sucker for this kind of nostalgia.
