It was great to hear Dexter describe Deb as having been the closest person to him in the world. (I wish the original series had remembered that in S7 & S8.) I don't think it's any coincidence that Dexter was drawn to Angela, a deeply wholehearted cop... who is very Deb-like.

It slightly reminded me of when Dexter showed up at Trinity house and started messing with his stuff and touching his sisters urn

I had to laugh when Dexter offered to close the door on Kurt in his “murder” cabin 😅. I’m so glad he saved Molly. That whole scene was gold! I really worried that this show couldn’t live up to the quality of the original series, but it’s really good. Can’t wait to find out where it goes from here.

Angela is played by Julia Jones. I personally know her from a couple other roles but you guys have actually seen her once before in ECHO. She plays Chafa the first Choctaw

i'm really glad to see you guys enjoying New Blood. I loved it, but i think a lot of ppl were too disappointed they didn't think it felt like "old dexter" but i enjoy all these plotlines they have in these 10 episodes
