What's really haunting is that if you type in YouTube "Chernobyl helicopter" you can watch the real footage of the crash. So sad.

Stellan Skarsgaard's performance in this episode particularly is amazing...how he goes from a "pig-headed" bureaucrat who's just towing the party line, slowly realizes with each scene the reality of the situation, and then begins to come to terms with it. By the end of the episode he knows he's f'ed and understands that it will take personal sacrifice to prevent this from being an even worse disaster.
