When I heard it, I was just about to put in headphones to record a bunch of footage for a VR video. I do not want to think about how mad it would gotten if I had not have heard it just before. Anyone ever had something like that happen?

Everything was so bonkers I had to leave it to dry but luckily it was ok. Whole thing was mad. The movers from the insurance ended up breaking loads more things lol Including the fridge! Was vexed about that.

Funny, the exact same thing happened to me, only I was out shopping with my friend at the time :P Lucky my fiancé was there to save the day! hahaha xD

Luckily for me, no (touch wood). Did you ever manage to dry-out your Nintendo Switch and retrive your save data with the "plastic bag+uncooked" rice trick I mentioned?
