Lili and Marc just came back with bubble tea to share with Angel and Cloud.🧋
Angel leans towards Lili and whispers something to Lili at a volume that Marc can also hear.
Which caught both of them off guard and blush.
She's not one to shy away from some topics and speak her mind.
Only one can wonder what it might be that Angel told Lili to cause that reaction.👀
(Cloud's just happy to get some bubble tea, not even listening or care.🧋)

A quick update.
I was a little concerned that Lili was taking a bit too much focus from the piece, and after reading the comments, it confirms that. XDD
So, I made a little editing and moved Lili slightly to the left, and moved Cloud a little as well.
I hope it helps balance the focus a little. (And I will also keep the first one, incase you prefer it.)

Yes, I agree, the blushing of hers and Angel's pose does push it more towards to her~XD

the change definitely helps, the reason Lili draws so much focus is a mix of colour (she stands out the most due to her bright red face), and composition (Angel kinda directs your attention towards her with the whispering posture, she's hunched slightly, your eyes naturally follow her eyes and then the hand helps direct your focus towards Lili etc.) I feel like I've said too much criticism considering I really like it

I do try to listen to feedback as much as I can and do something if I agree with it. (well, not always, but I try~XDD) Haha, funny that you mentioned that, Lily and Marigold was originally inspired by Lucky Star, just having to follow the main character's slice of life short comic, and maybe hop around different character's slice of life story. But over time, it developed more and more to the main character is depending on who's story is being told. With now in the current arc, Lili's friend Angelia and Angelia's friend group going to a fish country, dealing with their politics and economic problems... and talking to ghosts that want all land dwellers dead.... wait, where's Lili? Back at home chillin'. XDDD

Thank you for always listening to feedback! The tweak does help shift focus back to Angel (poor cloud gets blocked even more). If any one else complains, just remind them Lili is the title character, it's her job to steal the spotlight!

I actually too quite agree, perhaps it's because of Lili's expression stole the focus. And I wanted to give cloud some more visual too, so it's more leaning to the right. but seems like it did effect Angel a bit much. I'll edit the piece and move them to the left a bit more. XD I will update soon!

Well, Angel certainty does take up more physical space in the picture. It is a shame her arm and tail are cut off, I agree for her piece, the "camera" should at least include all of her. That being said, it is still a cute piece. I do wonder what Angel said. I have some fun guesses, but I think sharing kind of ruins the mystery of it.

Oh now that you mention school... I still remember the guy who got cookies from Lili and also got beaten by Lili because he was talking about some visual novel girl and Lili overheard and she thought the guy talks shit about her. XD

Hehe, always loved this side of Lili too XD And that was always the plan, but not there yet with comics. I was trying to think of how I'll do season 3, maybe progress time forward to where Lili's on third grade, but then I stopped and think, aaahh, shit. I can't do that, Marc's on thrid grade, then they wouldn't be on the same school. So probably have to stay in the current one, but have the progress moving to that point.
