Nathan panted, feeling as if he were being suffocated by his own body. The bed creaked in agony as he rested his enormous ass down on it. It had started off as an ordinary day. High school was alternately boring and annoying because he found little interest in his subjects, except for art. Everyone thought he was too nerdy, too into video games and anime. Compared to his cheerleader older sister, Cindy, he might have been a ghost for how little attention people paid to him. After lugging the boxes up to his bedroom, he started slicing them open, pulling out what he had bought, and finding a place to set it aside as he opened the rest. It was only after he had opened the last box that he realized that it was not something he had ordered. Inside the small box was a pile of red elastic cloth, held together by thin straps of more red elastic cloth.
“What’s this?” he asked. “Something Cindy ordered?”
He reached a hand into the box and lifted out what he now recognized was a bikini swimsuit top, only much larger in size than any other he had seen. He estimated that the cups of the top would be spacious enough to contain a pair of beach balls within them.
A tingling sensation formed in the hand holding the top, which grew and soon spread up his arm.
“What’s going on?” he asked, as his whole body began to tingle. He stood up, thinking that he might go to the sink to splash some cold water on his face and clear his head, but he only took a couple of steps before he felt strangely lethargic. It was as if he were trying to wade through mud, his skinny limbs feeling like lead weights.
Something seemed to be welling up from within him, a building pressure, which pushed against his skin from the inside. His flesh felt as if it had begun to stretch like a latex glove. Feeling his clothing clinging tighter and tighter, he looked down to see his belly swelling bigger as if it were being inflated like a water balloon. He soon realized that it was not only his belly growing. His ass, his chest, his legs and arms, every fleshy part of him that could contain fat was expanding, burying his bony frame, making his formerly skinny body increasingly thicker and fatter.
It did not take long for his expanding body to outgrow his clothes. Beyond the growing fat, which was drawing most of his attention, he was vaguely aware that something was changing about the basic structure of his anatomy. He felt as though he had gotten a little shorter. Then, he noticed that his hair had grown longer. Most worryingly, he sensed something strange happening between his legs. “M-mom,” Nathan said, feeling equally as terrified as she was, “H-help me!”
“C-cindy?” his mother said, trying to make sense of what she was looking at. “Is that you?”
“What?” Nathan replied, wondering why she was calling him his sister’s name, although he was afraid that he already knew why.
They both heard his sister shout from downstairs, “What is it?”
Neither he nor his mother knew how to respond.
“Mom?” Cindy said, walking up the stairs. “What’s the matter?”
Nathan wished he could hide or at least cover himself up. If he looked the way he thought he did, then when she saw him…
“Oh my God!” Cindy cried when she laid eyes on him. “What the…?” She looked ready to faint or throw up.
“Who are you?” his mother asked.
He found himself reluctant to answer, not wanting them to know that this is what he looked like now. However, he knew he had no choice but to get their help. “I’m Nathan,” he admitted.
His mother looked shocked and appalled.
His sister, on the other hand, looked furious.

Nathan’s stomach growled, demanding his attention. He felt hungry, desperately famished, as if he had not eaten in a week.
His mother was occupied with calling the Curses & Crafts customer support line, which meant he had to turn to his sister for help.
“Can you get me something to eat?” he begged her. “Please?”
Hearing him speaking in her voice disturbed them both, but there was nothing he could do about it. He had her voice. His body was her body, only with an immense amount of fat added to it.
She seemed even more grossed out that she had been, as if he had just said something obscene to her.
“You really think I’m going to feed you when you’re looking like that?”
He went to clasp his hands together to beg but caught himself as he was about to remove his hands from where they rested, covering his oversized nipples. That little bit of motion was enough, though, to trigger his asshole to let out a long, noisy fart.
Everyone reacted with disgust and Nathan felt his huge cheeks blush with embarrassment.
“S-sorry,” he replied, wishing again that he could escape this situation somehow.
“Stop it!” Cindy screamed. “Stop being gross!”
“He can’t help it,” their mother said in his defense, still keeping the phone to her ear as she waited on hold. “Just get him a bag of chips or something.”
Cindy sighed and walked off to the kitchen.
Nathan’s stomach growled with increased ferocity as he waited.
His sister returned a little while later and held the bag out to him, her arm fully extended, trying to keep her distance from him. He was forced to lift his hands from his nipples to grab the bag, forgetting all modesty in his desperation to feed himself.
Cindy turned away in disgust as he tore open the bag and began stuffing his face with the chips as fast as he could, chewing and swallowing a mouthful and immediately refilling his mouth with more. It only took a couple of minutes to devour the whole bag. He tried to stifle the belch that welled up from his stomach, but it came out almost as loudly as the fart had just done.
His stomach growled again, feeling far from satisfied.
“M-more?” Nathan pleaded, feeling grossed-out by himself yet still desperately hungry.
“Mom?” Cindy protested.
“Just order some pizzas,” their mother replied. “We can eat them as leftovers if he doesn’t finish them all.”
As they waited together, his mother explained, “The first person I talked to said that the bikini was ordered by someone in town. She wouldn’t specify who. Apparently, it was sent to our house as a ‘gift’ for Cindy. Someone’s idea of a cruel joke, I guess. You must have opened her package by accident. I’m waiting to talk to someone to find out how to get you back to normal. Just hang on.”
“Right,” he replied. What else could he do but hang on? He was worried though. What would they do when it came time for that food to pass out the other end of him? Could he even fit on the toilet? Could he even wipe himself if he did? Would they have to help him with the whole process? He sighed, feeling like a prisoner in his own flesh, hoping that there was a way to get back to normal before he would need to get answers to those uncomfortable questions.
Nathan passed the time with his eyes shut, trying to imagine he was somewhere else, floating in the ocean, perhaps, just enjoying the warm water. The burps and farts that passed out of him and the rumbling in his gut were just the sounds of distant sea creatures. Nothing to do with him.
“Hello?” his mother said, pulling him back from his dissociation. “Are you the one that did this to my son?”
Nathan sighed, wishing his mother could be calm enough to not antagonize the one person that might be able to help him.
There was a pause as she listened to the response.
“What the hell kind of operation are you running there where you would make something that could do this to a boy?”
Again, she listened to the response.
“Well,” she said, “what can you do to fix this? I want my son back to normal, now.”
The pause was shorter this time.
“One week!?” his mother shrieked, outraged.
He sighed, realizing that they would have to discover how to handle the toilet situation, after all.

Nathan’s father came home later that night to discover that he now had twin daughters, one of whom was at least five times the weight of the other and kept eating and burping and farting, while continuously shoveling food into a gaping mouth, in a vein attempt to fill an insatiable gut.
He hated being his sister, hated the way the real Cindy looked at him like a living insult to her. He hated knowing that the strange slit between his legs that leaked out a stream of hot piss now and then was identical to the one between his sister’s legs. He hated that he was no longer himself in any way except for in his memories.
He felt less like a person now and more like an appendage to a digestive system that was constantly active and never satisfied. He existed only in service of a stomach that worked to add fat to an already oversized mound of fat. He was a slave to a process, the sole purpose of which was to transform food into waste. With nothing to do but eat, his mind atrophied as the days passed, gradually losing all sense of his identity.
Vaguely, he knew that he would be his old self again, eventually, but that meant nothing to him in the midst of this ordeal. He realized that, even after his body returned to normal, he would never really be his old self again, not after surviving this experience. That depressed him, so he avoided thinking about it. In fact, he avoided thinking about anything at all.
He just sat and ate and ate and ate…
