7Eves - Raspberries LINE ART WIP
🕑 Added 2023-09-11 00:27:21 +0000 UTCHey, Patreon! Thank you all for the birthday wishes!! I had a wonderful birthday yesterday, and a wonderful birthday stream, as well!
This is the progress from last night's stream! We were working on line art for the Raspberries comic that I shared sketches for last night, and also just updated a few minutes ago! I was also taking questions from my chat attendees, and shared a good amount of lore for this story! One primary detail I haven't shared here before now is something I should go ahead and talk about:
Witches are not the only faction of magic users in the world of 7Eves; the other faction, Alchemists, exists at the opposite end of the magical spectrum. Witches are practitioners of occult magic, gathering their power from the moon, and deal with curses, hexes, spells and the like; Alchemists practice with arcane magic, drawing power from the earth, granting them an affinity for nature, and are known for crafting objects like charms and concocting potions and medicines.
What sets these two factions apart? They are both fully incapable of performing the other's craft. A witch cannot hope to be able to perform alchemy; similarly, an alchemist cannot learn witchcraft. Both parties are polar opposites of the other.
More details were also shared, but that's one of the main takeaways lorewise that I felt I should share!! I hope you're all interested to learn more in the future! But until next time, take care of yourselves, and thank you, as always, for your continued support!!
