Studio Otakuversus - Thank You! 😭
🕑 Added 2025-07-12 22:35:50 +0000 UTCAlright. I’m gonna say some pretty lame shit - so bear with me.
Every single one of you—at every tier, at every level—you saved this.
Let me tell you the truth:
Last year, I thought it was over.
I thought there were three curses we’d never break:
The Curse of Ra! – That we’d never break 200K views on a video again.
The Patreon Crash – That we’d never climb back to a functional budget to pay the team.
The Industry Wall – That we’d never be accepted or invited to Anime Expo.
And yet… one year later…
We broke them all.
Because of you.
Episode One is sitting at 220K views and still climbing.
The Patreon is at $10,000/month—enough to finally support the artists and voice actors who work on the show.
And at Anime Expo 2025, we stood on stage beside the industry we thought would never let us in.
I don't know how many times I can say this but:
Thank you.
Thank you for the support. The encouragement. The fanart. The comments. The kind words.
Because there was a moment, after all that… where I just sat there and thought:
“Okay… so what now?”
And then I realised.
Now we keep going.
We finish what we started.
We deliver Episodes 3 & 4.
Then 5 & 6.
Then 7 & 8.
And then who knows?
Maybe one day soon…
The studio opens its doors in Japan for real.
Maybe you walk through them.
Maybe we make something even crazier, even bigger, together.
Whatever comes next, just know:
You helped save Studio OtakuVersus.
You brought Otachan back to life.
And I’ll never forget it. 🐰
Let’s keep going.

Pffft, you think *that's* lame? Let me show you how it's done: You suceeded because of the power of belief. In yourself. We were always there, baka

Was always ready to ride this out to whatever conclusion this whole thing would end up. I hope you and the team give yourself some credit because every post, you wore your heat on your sleeve. The good and the bad felt very honest and you came back swinging. Here's to more success in the future.
