That's almost two years worth of updates, and I still haven't gotten around to making a better name than "Update". I did give up on that quite a while ago to be honest. Still, thought it'd be fun to note.
It's funny, I didn't really have more of an idea with these updates other than being some sort of sign of life, so that people know that their financial support isn't just disappearing into a void. I still don't have much more of an idea beyond that, but since they've been appreciated I've just kept going.

This was meant to be the OG one, but I realized that their hands weren't quite so visible. It's not exactly the highest effort stuff I've ever made, but I'm doing a lot of writing now, big deadline on Monday. Then another one the following Monday, and them I'm free to work on nothing but the game for the rest of summer. Woohoo!
Speaking of the game, I did manage to squeeze in all of scene 14 as well this week. Two little previews will be shown below, nothing special. In fact, half the reason I decided to do a little extra celebratory render was because the previews weren't overly exciting by themselves.

I did mention I might write something really dumb for this update as well. I have written it, and I will post it below. Just beware that it's... super dumb. This is approximately what me going into stand-up comedy would be like. Imagine me on a small scene at a tiny comedy club on open mic night. Here goes.
"So… The other day I read a thread on reddit about someone's girlfriend pooping in the shower while showering with their partner. Something about feeling confident and daring to be themselves. Naturally, this didn’t go over well with the partner.
But it got me thinking, why is defecating in the shower such an issue? I mean, it all goes down the same sewer pipes anyway, right? Sure, the grate in the shower isn’t designed to handle such waste products, possibly leading to some waffle stomping and such, but that ought to be easily remedied. Just design it better, add something to sit on as well.
So again, why? If anything it’s easier to clean yourself up afterwards in the shower. No need to spend money on toilet paper. Or a bidet for that matter. Hell, you could avoid spending money on a toilet and a sink while you’re at it too. All you need is a shower.
Is it due to water waste? Flushing the toilet and washing your hands in the sink can’t be that much more water efficient, can it? Especially not if you take a daily shower and poop at the same time as a routine. If anything we could be talking about saving water here.
Who’s behind this? Is it Big Bathroom wanting to make sure that we’re buying all of this crap? Is it Big Toilet Paper and the logging industry wanting to make sure that we cut down even more trees?
I say enough is enough! No more of this! All I need is a shower!

At the end here I usually give thanks to all of you, and today is no different. But today I'd like to think back on those very early days on Patreon, when I had just released the first episode. An episode that I now look back on with a little bit of embarrassment, because it really doesn't look particularly good. But also a fair bit of pride, since I actually committed and created something. Also some of those jokes still tickle me. *Pats self on back*
For a while there were about ten to fifteen people supporting me, and crazily enough almost all of you are still around. I think it's important for myself to think back on that and remember how giddy and excited I felt when I realized there were actually people at all willing to support me on this project. I want to remember and hold on to that feeling, cuddle it close and sleep with it as my pillow.
So extra special thanks to all of you. Thank you very much.
And a great many thanks to everyone who's currently supporting me, who's ever supported me, who's ever so much as written encouraging words or given constructive feedback. Thank you all so much.

Don't think I would've ever written a character quite like Tanathil without outside input. First your initial idea, and then the polls, and then my own take on all of that put together into one amalgamation of a character. It's interesting how alive she was from the very beginning, so easy and natural to write once all the rest was in place. So I'm grateful as well, for all the great input I've gotten, and the fact that people care enough about the characters/game to have input in the first place.

Recently had a chat with someone who was thankful for getting to add ideas to various games over the years. I thought back over to when you were thinking about the last 'main cast' of who would be the healer. If I'm being honest when I spoke about my concepts Tanahil was not what I envisioned. However, I've always enjoyed seeing how others take an idea or concept and create it themselves. She's a wild one, and I'm grateful not just for her but all the input you've taken and created in your own way.

Good point about the soap! Why do we have shower soap and hand soap separated? Big Soap is clearly in on it as well! The plot thickens...

Waffle stomping is diabolical 💀 I think it's better for sanitary reasons to have them completely separate, but depending on soaps used it might have no scientific advantage. W people of reddit as usual.
