Chapter 15 Touhou
🕑 Added 2022-04-04 05:46:12 +0000 UTCAfter we finished our meal Ran respectfully excused herself taking along a couple jars of the Sake with my permission to send them to Yukari with the hopes of smoothing things over, but honestly shouldn't I be the one getting stuff to soothe ruffled feathers?
Actually, they literally can't give me a physical thing that I desire in with my ability to create the equivalent of Noble Phantasm's with a flex of my will and using flooding materials with ridiculous amounts of mana.
I thought smugly as Yuyuko was leaning back in her chair as we sat across from one another just enjoying the flavor of our Sake and with her having drank two pots of my Sake she was sporting a light blush as the alcohol brought some color to her pale skin.
"Yuyuko do you plan on flying back now that I have filled your stomach or you too tired to do so." I asked politely not asking if she was too drunk as that would just make drunks belligerent and deny as hard as they could.
Actually, I wonder how many people have died in drunk flying accidents as drinking is the main past time here in Gensokyo as there isn't much to do honesty.
"Hmm... Imma just nap here then I will go home." The ghost princess mumbled and then curled herself into the chair and although it was a well-padded seat I didnt want her complaining about a crick or something in her neck whenever she awoke from her food coma.
She had appeared to have already fallen asleep from her drunken stupor, so I gently picked her up in a princess carry and despite how curvy she was. She was extremely light as a woman her shape and size would easily be like a hundred and fifty pounds or somewhere around there but she didnt feel like that even with all the food and liquids she had gobbled down. If anything, she barely broke a hundred pounds at most.
"Youmu put me in the bath..." The pink haired beauty mumbled, and my lips twitched in amusement as I moved around and gently put her back on the couch me and Ran were sitting on previously.
I just stuffed a pillow beneath her head and threw over a blanket over her as she was mumbling in her sleep when a migraine hit me making me stagger and almost collapse onto the ghost princess, but I was able to teleport mid fall into my comfy throne as I franticly looked to see what the hell was wrong.
"This damn barrier is bringing me too many problems..." I almost cried as the damned Yama of all people, the one who chooses whether people go to hell or some Shinto version of heaven in Gensokyo. Shikieiki Yamaxanadu was using her sin counting board to tap on my barrier almost politely, but the weight of that board was literally mountain crushing in its strength.
I teleported straight in front of her and then sent a blast of heavy wind to push her back a couple feet so I didnt have to feel the weight of the meteor that killed the dinosaur's slamming into my damn barrier. "Yama stop trying to break my barrier dammit." I fumed as the petite woman stood up straight from being pushed back a couple feet from the surprise.
"You carry many sins newborn god..." She said frowning as she looked at the board in front of her obviously reading my so-called sins and negative karma. "I can see your life is literally less than a couple weeks old and yet you carry the sins and resentments of thousands of Yokai and humans who have died."
I paused and my mind raced as I knew for a fact that even as I punted all the tengu's and other Yokai off my mountain that they all survived or simply was ethereal to the point of just reforming anyway.
"I do not understand what you mean as I haven't killed anyone, especially any humans at all as I have gone out of my way to protect them and even have had a champion save several children a couple days ago." I said frowning making the Yama hum in though as she read more details on her board.
"Well says right here that you personally killed a number of Yokai in your tribulation lightning when you ascended into godhood." I could only raise a finger dumbfounded as I was being blamed for the idiots who thought flying into black lightning was a swell idea especially when I was totally focused on sealing away as much of the lightning as possible to refine into my human form.
"See... This complete disregard is completely out of line for any decent god and is the reason Gensokyo is out of line so often! Now sit there while I properly lecture you. Ah ahem, Moria, was it? Yes, well see that disregard for the lives of others as you create heavenly phenomena is most troubling as it creates ripples within fate as the tengu's and people who dove into the lightning weren't supposed to die at that time."
My literal eyes made out of gemstones and powered by the divine wrathful lightning of the heavens started watering with intense boredom as Shikieiki continued to monologue how I was wasting my gifts and not creating perpetual motion machines to create infinite energy or likewise enchanting food devices to output infinite food and clean water.
But it was like she was my strict mother with how the petite short woman controlled the conversation and with her reading my literal sins from the board I couldn't even argue they were incorrect at all.
'This why everyone just runs away from her...' I realized helplessly as if someone fought her off which wouldn't be easy at all with her being a Yama which was basically a king of hell, then when they eventually die here in Gensokyo they won't be able to escape her throwing them straight into hell.
But I couldn't run away from her as my fucking mountain was stuck in one place obviously...
And there's no way in hell I could just ignore her damn paddle smashing into my barrier like Madara throwing meteors at it all day which she is certainly the type to do so with how persistent she is.
Out of desperation I concentrated my mana within and with pure will and probably country ruining amounts of pure wild mana I pulled out a black putrid mass out of my chest.
"Here..." I said throwing the putrid mass of ethereal worms and shadows at the feet of the Yama. "This is all my negative karma... Take it home and beat it with the paddle like a pinata for all I care."
A massive explosion was my answer as the Yama scream in fright at the solid moving mass of evil karma and brought her sin punishing board down and the surrounding forest was wiped from existence as Shikieiki showed me the power of a god not playing around with spell card rules as the temperatures from her unmaking reality locally turned the ground outside my shuddering barrier into pure clear glass as she purged all things considered 'unclean'
Shikieiki was breathing heavily and giggling manically as she stared at me and then at her sin board repeatedly.
I have a distinct feeling I just made more problems for myself...
Shikieiki tapped the barrier with her paddle, and I flinched waiting for the massive explosion to happen again but basically nothing happened as her paddle only touched the barrier without the magic within taking action.
"Work for me Lord Moria!" Shikieiki said breathlessly as she stared at me in wonder and more complex emotions that were obviously new to her almost rigidly stern face. Honestly, I was considering the logistics of yeeting my mountain through space and time to land somewhere much less troublesome...
I hear Mount Justice has wonderful weather this centuries ... Or the mountain in Wakanda works just fine too...
