Touhou Chapter 29

"So... Brat. How has my dear Ran been treating you." Yukari said softly as she sipped at the sake that was placed before her.
"Hmm. Ran has been nothing but a delight honestly. My cathedral would be far emptier without her in any case... Hag." I said nonchalantly as I myself took a dainty sip out of my Sake before we both sat down our drinks with a loud clinking noise and tension filled the veranda with Remilia and Patchouli freezing at the weight of the staring contest between the personification of an immortal mountain, and the infinite Gap between all concepts.
Excuse me Mr. Moria." Flandre muttered softly breaking me and Yukari's staring match and I looked over and saw the cute figure of Flandre holding the large chalice in both of her small dainty hands. Honestly her cute European features made me wanna coo at her and I would instantly adopt her if she held up the chalice and said 'Please sir may I have some more' like that one cute child asking for more food meme.
"Yes, child of blood what do you desire?" I asked gently as I watched her fingers rubbing at the rubies inlaid into the chalice's gold.
"When can Sakuya come home? We all really miss her." She whispered and everyone including Yuyuko stopped eating to see how I would handle this awkward situation.
I couldn't help but sigh as I had little control over that situation as despite me having as far as I knew unlimited power, I didn't want to contest Tiamat's will in having Sakuya as my servant not only because I enjoyed having her around, but I doubted my abilities to ham fistedly rip out the fake heart she had and give her a new one.
"Flandre Scarlet I apologize but she has to stay with me for a while... But nothing is stopping you or her from meeting up to have fun, right?" I asked and I saw her eyes flash to her older sister whose face twitched as she would obviously not want her destructive little sister running around unsupervised.
I coughed before I smiled and pushed a couple small matching amulets across the table to the youngest vampire. "These amulets will allow you to send messages to one another across great distances and better yet. Once a day they can allow you to teleport to whoever is wearing the other amulet." I explained making Flandre's eyes widen with glee as she took the amulet and before her sister could even say a word, she slipped the amulet over her neck and hid it under her dress.
"Either way so long as you don't cause problems to the humans who reside upon my mountain you are free to come and go as you, please within reason." I said shrugging as I had all but given up on hating Yokai as I had come to the realization that should I desire to encompass Gensokyo like my sibling Esdeath did in the dwarven Norse realm, then I would need to rope in the more powerful Yokai as the worship of the weaker human's within Gensokyo was paltry in comparison to the worship the feudal Tengu were already sending my way as their lord.
Granted the Tengu weren't hardcore worshippers like the Oni's down in Old Hell were. But it was only a matter of time as they saw their ruler defer and serve me in all ways, that they would come to see me as above Tenma. I had the time to wait in any case.
"So Yuyuko did you enjoy the Sake I sent back home with you?" I asked nonchalantly as I looked to the damned hungry ghost of a woman that had already devoured a whole fucking suckling pig in the five minutes I talked with the others. Literally only its poor head remained as the proof of its existence as literally every ever part of the pig ended up in Yuyuko's all-consuming gullet.
Yuyuko Saigyouji smiled happily as she delicately wiped her face with some napkins. "Oh yes I most certainly did! Would it be possible to commission some more?" She asked before she paused, and a mischievous smile overtook her as she rested her face on her hand as she leaned forward onto the table.
"By the way would any of the Sake you laid out, be some of that Divine Sake you got wasted on last time?" She asked with her eyes fluttering in a parody of flirting as she clearly was joking around.
But my mind was filled with the all-consuming alcohol that wiped away my higher thought processes and brought about the thought that making all the rivers in Hell was just a swell idea... Yeah, the idea turned out well in the end, but I am scared of maybe turning my mountain into cheese or something and getting screwed over.
"No Yuyuko..." I said slowly making the ghost princess whine.
"Oh, come on Moria I am totally your best buddy, and I didn't get to try it last time!" She needled pouting at my apparent refusal to give her some.
"Yuyuko Saigyouji! I challenge you to a drinking contest!" Tenma surprising announced making the room look at her in surprise and then I could feel her send a prayer directly to my mind. "My Lord, I know she is a troublemaker and the best way to occupy her is to simply to offer her a challenge or another form of entertainment."
To my priestess's well-reasoned prayer, I sent her a small nod and turned back to look to Ran who was talking/scolding Yukari for being a difficult guest.
"Yukari... Can we be civil with one another, or do you want to keep up our little passive aggressive spats?" I spoke offering Yukari an olive branch as I knew now especially with Tiamat hanging like a Damocles sword over whoever dared to seal me away would be smote into nothingness should they not have another primordial god behind there back.
Yukari didn't even blink as she looked over to me and spoke. "Fuck you and your claim to Youkai Mountain. You hit my dress with bird shit when I was opening Gap's in your realm, and I won't forget that for several centuries!"
Well seems the woman was going to be petty and if our little pettiness was going to last for centuries. Whelp time to go for the nuclear option... "The real reason you are so pissy at me is because of your lopsided sized boobs got mentioned right?" I said as she went to take another drink and made everyone at the table choke on their food and drinks at the sheer balls I had.

Awesome thanks for the compliment as it's hard to make sure people with no idea of the setting actually understand the nuisances of the characters

So I just binged your whole tohou story, and although I know nothing about tohou I pretty much understood what was happening and very much enjoyed the story. So thanks for this and looking forwarded to more.

"Welp, I tried. If I'm stuck with pettiness for a few centures, I might as well enjoy it!" Can't say I disagree!
