Apocalypse Chapter 6 asdo21has commissioned more of this story

There were thousands of workers working in the center and with all the heavy machinery making noise there was a steady stream of zombies in that area to say nothing of all the workers that got turned into zombies, to begin with.
"Well this is just too damned many really." I muttered seeing the large mega warehouse that was like five Walmarts wide and long so I just sighed and spoke again. "Just... Give me a minute I am going to wall around the place so no more zombies can stream in." I said wryly as I used my builder power to make a quick two-block high wall around the distribution center, killing the zombies in the way of my quick build as Takashi dealt with the few zombies that came from behind the buses from where we came from.
A few minutes later as I came back towards the buses with the wall of stone and grimly noted how I was running out of resources I spoke through the radio. "Alright the zombies are cleared, load up the perishable and fragile goods last and while I check deeper into the distribution center," I said frowning as I was noticing how for all the zombies there were, there was actually a large lacking of the actual zombies in the work uniforms of this place.
Tomashi jumped onto a forklift and started pushing the pallets laden with cereal, canned, powdered milk, and so many longer last food options into our trucks, and I nodded as I saw how the place had a whole section for the local food kitchens that had powdered eggs and other dried food we could easily rehydrate to make into food.
But as I went deeper into the distribution center and came across a large water system thing, I went pale and silent as I saw kneeling as though holding vigil next to a large cargo container-sized pulsating core that was leaking the worms of the Back 4 Blood method of infection into the water system. Was three of the stronger base special infected.
Two, Tall Boys from the Back 4 Blood series of special infected. And as though acting as their leader, there was a Left 4 Dead Tank with its oversized torso and arms propping up its body as it stood like a gorilla directly in front of the core of what was going to likely become an Ogre or even more dangerous lifeform from Back 4 Blood.
I slinked back before I bit my lips and retreated further and quickly told everyone to shut the hell up and no longer use any machinery before I went back to the problem that was stopping us from getting the supplies.
Tanks from Left 4 Dead were major bullet sinks, to say nothing of their insane strength that could break roads down and then launch boulders of materials at people. But with their weaker legs and front heavy frames due to their massive upper bodies and arms, they were kind of predictable in how they were only able to move forward but tall boys from Back 4 Blood were different.
They were weird in how they had mutated to grow more than fifteen feet tall and had mutated one of their arms into becoming a weapon of destruction that hung down to the very ground that was even stronger than a tank's base strength due to its entire evolution being devoted to smashing with that arm with the worms that congregated at the core of the arm. Acting as the entire tall boy's weakness that eclipses it being shot in the head due to the fact that killing the massive congregation of the worms within the arms core would overload the rest of the body's worms into just dropping dead due to overexertion.
Thankfully there weren't the more agile special infected like hunters and the zombies that used projectile acid... But if there was already a special infection with the infection only being around for a week before I landed here, then that meant that other such monsters weren't far off.
"How the fuck do I deal with two tall boys and a tank..." I whispered as I hid behind a large pallet of stuff and then as I looked around I grinned ferally as I saw a cage on the side of the wall filled with small propane tanks.
But as I used my axe to shatter the lock and chain closing the metal cage around the propane tanks I heard the Tall Boy's long heavy arm dragging across the ground as it came to check what was going on and I cursed as I threw aside the cage and a loud gurgling roar rang out behind me with the tall boy started hobbling towards me with its massive arm slapping onto the ground with each off-center step with the monsters off weighted gait resulting from it having, only one of the massive arms which through off its center of balance during a run.
I grabbed one of the propane tanks and as the massive club-like arm came down at me I dived to the side before letting go of the propane tank with a grimace as I realized the tall boy was too damned close to shoot the tank with an incendiary round or whatever and cause it to explode.
As it swung down at me again with its massive arm I actually rolled between its legs and then I swept my axe sideways making a loud crunching noise as I shattered and carved through the knees of the monster making it collapse to its side as its massive arm with a blunted end couldn't hold up its weight and as I came to my feet I heard more dragging noise which meant that the other tall boy was coming so I snarled as I brought down my axe in a text book, wood splitting stroke that cut halfway through the glowing core of the tall boy's arm making it gurgle in pain.
"Kill meeee pleaseeee..." It hissed and I shuddered at the reminder of how these fucking poor bastards were still being kept alive and just controlled and mutated by the worms.
So with another grunt of effort, I brought my axe down again and split the core apart and the massive mutated zombie went into convulsions as the worms within its frame went into shock as the secondary mutated brain and center for the worms fell apart.
"Fucking hell." I cursed at seeing the other tall boy round the corner I just mentally said fuck it as I realized actually blowing up a propane tank here in the middle of a large building filled with supplies was a terrible idea honestly for a number of reasons.
Loud cracking noises rang out as I used more aura than usual with normal rounds as I switched to hollow point rounds and I unloaded a dozen shots of my rifle into the other tall boys head with chunks of flesh being scrapped off and finally once one of the bullets broke through the hardened skull I saw the tall boy stagger as the hollow points started breaking in and spreading through its brain mulching it.
But even as I mulched its brain with the hollow point rounds I saw how the football-sized core on the tall boy's arm glowed brighter with its body straightening up as the worms within the core of the mutation of the tall boy took more control of the body with the primary brain being destroyed.
I pulled the lever on my mecha shift axe and with a grinding noise I had to brace myself as the axe lengthened into its sniper rifle form and no longer was my rifle making loud cracking noises with each shot. No, now I switched to my sniper and I had to draw upon my aura as I steadied myself with a booming noise, I pulled the trigger making an explosion of flames burst out of my gun as the .950 JDJ-sized round that was literally half a pound of metal moving faster than the speed of sound rammed into the chest of the tall boy rushing towards me.
Even as the sound of my highest caliber rounds shot rang out I saw how even with the tall boy's enhanced flesh and durability, the round actually bisected the massive arm that it had folded up in the air to block off my shots with my much lower caliber that were shot towards its arm core.
And with a loud thumping noise the shattered bones and ligaments had torn apart the arm core from the round blowing up its arm like a round smashing into concrete and sending shrapnel everywhere with the last tall boy collapsing to the ground.
Before I could shift my axe back into its rifle size and hold my shoulder that screamed in pain even through my aura I heard the deep-throated roar of the Tank that was rushing towards the sound of my gunshot and probably whatever bullshit that my 'hunted' drawback from the Cyoa drove them towards me.
I grimaced and then I spoke. "Fuck it my shoulder is killing me." I said as I let go of my gun with one hand while the Tank rammed through one of the shelving units and I pulled at my Karmic Battery within me sacrificing the karma I received from saving a couple thousand students' lives. And at that moment a minor miracle was born. No at that moment a catastrophe was born as a blinding and ear-ringing pillar of lightning arced from my hand before colliding into the tank in almost no time at all.
Even with my karmic battery protecting me from the effects of actually using my ability I was still partially blinded and deafened for a couple of seconds before I could see the blackened remains of the Tank that was smoking with the residual fingers of flames that burnt at its charred flesh.
"Jake! What the fuck is going on!" I heard Takashi roaring as he held his own ears and even my ears were still ringing so I didn't blame him for his yelling, I just pointed at the monsters and his mouth dropped before he shuddered and threw me a look.
"We need guns. A lot of guns and ammo don't we." He said grimacing as he took in the large mutated forms of the zombies that mutated for pure strength-based means of attack.
"Yup... Have Tomashi load this Tank and a Tall Boy, into a truck or something so we can it back to have the science teachers and other people do some research on it." I said pointing out and naming the monsters to save time with Takashi snorting.
"Tall Boy, really?" He said raising an eyebrow and I just told him to come up with a better name on the spot and at that he shut up and then had our fork lifter operator load up the still-bleeding corpses of the monsters into a trailer that was securely locked up in case the zombies worms infesting the special infected could reanimate the bodies somehow.
Meanwhile, I went over and got some kerosene and other flammable crap along with some fire extinguishers and then carefully burnt out the core of a future Ogre or whatever the hell this cargo container-sized worm factory was that was filling the water supply with worms.
"We got everything loaded that we could Jake. But the guys are scared seeing those special infected." Takashi told me bluntly and I could see the stress in his eyes.
"I don't blame you and the others for fearing these monsters Takashi, as you cannot kill these bastards with a baseball bat." I said softly before shaking my head. "I am going to see if I can raid a police station or something to get us some guns and ammo." I said as I thought about the school nurse's hot friend who was a sniper and their shared condo that had a few guns but nowhere near enough to arm even a hundred people let alone provide the ammo needed for a prolonged battle.
So I sighed as I wished this was America in which I could just go raid a damned gun store or hell just any Walmart or sporting goods store for a few thousand rounds.
"Well let's get going... Obviously, I need to reinforce the walls around the school." I finished as I took one last look at the large dark hole that I could hear running water coming out of that the tall boys and the tank had dug out for that worm factory to fill with worms. Then Takashi and I went got back on the bus and we headed back to the school to finally get rest from all the day's events.
