The previous Enma who judged the souls within Gensokyo's lands was standing at the edge of my barrier into Old Hell pouting while once again tapping on my barrier with her karma paddle and each tap of the damned paddle made my head ring like a damned drum.
"Stop beating on my damn barrier!" I yelled exasperated to the extreme as Eiki gracefully leaned back from my yelling form with the large wooden plank held in front of her face obscuring the lower half of her face and only allowing her dark blue eyes and the fringes of her green hair to show from under her hat as she took me in.
But then Eiki disregarding my yelling at her only coughed and then spoke seriously as she looked at the board in front of her face that had a person's sin's upon it. "Ahem, Jake Barris, reborn as Moria, we never got a chance to discuss your work as a saint to help clear the people's negative Karma... But I can now see that although you can purify yourself, you are still sinful at heart as in the space we have last seen one another you have performed many sins." Shiki took a deep breath and I shuddered as she lectured me in the most disappointed manner possible.
I couldn't even hate or be mad at her as her lecturing wasn't mean-spirited or even her yelling at me. No, her lecturing was concise, she didn't bring up things she already spoke of, and even worse she was basically counseling me on the sins I performed and how I could have done the same things without making a sin out of it the situation.
"You see, Lord Moria your fascination with the so-called pert behind of Lady Sakuya Izayoi isn't inherently a sin, but should you make an honest woman out of her and marry her any ogling you make upon your wives form will be just you looking at your wife with love and the desire to breed which isn't at all a sin unless it impedes upon Miss Izayoi's personal space." The Enma of Gensokyo continued to lecture me lightly into becoming a 'better' person.
"Now would you mind pulling the negative karma out of you're self so I can exercise it again?!" She asked excitedly and wordlessly I pulled the negative karma out of my soul and tossed it past my barrier and like a professional baseball player Eiki winded up her karma plank and smashed the blob of blackened goo that was my negative karma.
The sound of her karma plank smashing into the blob of negative karma was like the sound of meat being slapped onto a red hot slab of metal as it exploded into a hissing noise and as the blob of negative karma was boiled away Eiki hysterically giggled and I spoke wryly.
"Is that enough? Can I go now... Aunty?" I said wryly before shuddering as I almost called her mom and knew damned well that Tiamat would flip her shit if I said that.
Eiki's head tilted to the side at me calling her that before shaking her head. "Ah calling me a feminine name of older age and experience with implied familial love in the name... No Moria, you may not weasel your way out of here. I still need to discuss with you your actions in dealing with Amaterasu. She has been completely inconsolable without her divinity and the rest of the Shinto faith have been in violent arguments about what should happen to her." She began speaking and I sighed loudly but Eiki paid my bitching no mind as she continued before I spoke up.
"So what? Is one of her asshole brothers going to breed her or something to make a new goddess?" I asked bluntly and she grimaced but nodded making me blink in surprise before snorting. "Of course... Cannot be a god without some incest." I finished dryly as Eiki's face twitched and she coughed.
"Be as it may, I would still ask that you consider giving her back her divinity so she may defend herself from the predations of her family." Eiki finished with a sigh as she stared at me with not much hope.
And I confirmed that lack of hope as I snorted. "Sure, I will happily give Amaterasu her divinity back... Hell, I will literally even formally join the Youkai faction of Japan and act as their guardian god like the five divine beasts works with the Onmyoji clans..." At my words Eiki's face slipped down into a sad smile as she knew damned well I was going to ask for something impossible in return.
"All I ask is that you release my unborn sibling born within Mount Fuji." I said softly and I could feel Tiamat's weight of her consciousness filling the area as she paid more attention likewise Eiki stiffened in realization the primordial mother was here. "My mother although troublesome, does love me to bits and I know she would be... Beyond ecstatic to have another child to spoil so that's it Eiki." I said with finality as I began sinking into the surface of the ground.
"Tell the Shinto's to release my sibling or I will keep Amaterasu's divinity and either use it for giving infinite electrical power to the world, or I will use it to make my own Tamamo as I miss snuggling into fluffy fox tails." I finished with a sad smile as I honestly did miss Ran and before Eiki could say anything else I teleported away back home with a sigh.
But as I leaned into my throne I felt soft arms wrap around my frame and Sakuya gasped freezing in place as Tiamat's upper portion of her body seeming grew out of my throne to hug me. "My son I appreciate it... But I already did all I could to get your sibling freed. Why else do you think the Shinto gods are always hiding in their realm fueled by my child?" She whispered into my ear and I could hear the sheer venom and spite in her voice as she continued.
"Oh, they tried to beg and plead, offering everything in the world but what I actually wanted... But that's why none of the factions of the world respect the Shinto faith, I slaughtered all their primordial gods and every single divinity that was on Earth that didn't retreat to another realm so their high-end gods are all dead by my hand leaving only the second generation gods like Amaterasu, Susanoo and the other upstarts to take the leash. And they are lesser..." She said with relish before her arms squeezed me with affection.
I could feel Tiamat's gaze move from the back of my head to rest on Sakuya and she began chuckling with her soft chest jiggling against the back of my head. "Oh, my beloved son you have made me proud... Even as her heart made by my own hands beats in fear of myself, it still sings of the affection she carries for you. Sakuya Izayoi, I approve so have no fear." She said cryptically and I wanted to facepalm at Tiamat's embarrassing action as Sakuya blushed alongside myself.
"Moommm!" I groaned and Tiamat hysterically giggled squeezing me so hard that I knew coal would be turned into a diamond as the force of the hug made the gems embedded in my clothes shatter before she snickered and left me and Sakuya alone to awkwardly stare at one another.
