🕑 Added 2023-05-05 18:08:37 +0000 UTC"Modern luxuries... Are just luxurious." I said utterly relaxing into a metaphorical blob of blissed comfort as I sank into the hot tub that had several high-power water jets within so my body was being massaged by the water jets.
Ever since coming to this world, this was the closest I had come to my old world's modern luxuries, as Eta being the mad genius she was, had long ago figured out ways to make runic lines that would create electricity for power and then she went hog wild making the inventions and other highly valuable parts of my old world. Why? Because she was a fucking made genius and put emphasis on the mad part as she was a total sociopath.
But in the face of using a modern toilet and having a modern shower, I couldn't care fucking less that she sometimes used animals and maybe... Very unlikely used death row criminals in her magical testing.
I try not to think about how stone-cold Eta could be honestly.
Relaxing in the hot tub with all the gods silenced within my mortal body was an utter pleasure... No Bhudda telling me to relax harder, no Scathach telling me to swim laps in the pool next to the hot tub, no Amaterasu/Tamamo coming to seduce me. Just nice peace and quiet...
My eyes twitched as I heard a splash of water next to me and as I opened my eyes I spied Eta completely nude just sitting in front of me on the bench in the hot tub just staring at me silently.
"Eta... I thought I put up a sign." I said wryly and she nodded with her long dark purple hair that was already damp from the frothing and steaming water moving with the motion.
"Yes, Jake. I did in fact see the sign stating that you were taking a soak in the hot tub I created. In fact, I myself also enjoy taking a soak in the tub and wished to have some time to speak with you without the presence of the other girls due to them interrupting our conversations." She said bluntly in her slightly tired voice due to her insomnia and habit of overworking on her inventions.
Eta... Was a weird case in Shadow Garden, she was an elf with the almost hilariously standard very voluptuous frame with larger breasts with the exception of Epsilion whom all the girls in Shadow Garden had. But rather than training for spying, combat, or other forms of work within the Shadow Garden militant structure, she was still the most dangerous member bar none of Shadow Garden.
She had the mind and ability to make powerful runic bombs. And by that, I meant she would make half-assed runic portals that would turn into pseudo-black holes that would drag everything within miles to be spewed into the void between worlds due to the portals being incomplete... Alpha and Delta couldn't stab their way out of the void between realms and Eta with the blessing of Baldur and Scathach was fully capable of teleporting wherever the hell she wished.
So there's that and then there's the fact that she regularly made golems that could give Alpha and Delta a bit of a challenge for the Shadow Garden girls to train against.
Either way, Eta was a special case in the structure of Shadow Garden as although she seemingly wasn't as almost religiously devoted to the destruction of the Cult of Diabolos and the preservation of the world. She had an obsession with me, as someone who was an enigma to her in so many ways.
"Should the water be hotter or higher pressure?" She started off by asking and I mentally groaned but truthfully answered about how the water was fine temperature wise but the pressure could be higher to massage our deeper tissues.
"Hmm, I see. And how should towels be taken into consideration as well?" She continued and I opened an eye to look at her and she was unashamedly looking at me and I took in her perky breasts before sighing.
"Eta, your tits are distracting me but no I don't think towels will be much of an issue. And before you ask, yes I would typically wear a towel in a more public bathing setting but I thought with me putting up a sign that I would be using it that I would be alone." I finished wryly and Eta only blinked as she used a hand to heft to her right breast out of the water before letting it clap down into the water making my eye twitch at her action.
"Hmm. You are indeed distracted by my breasts and are thus less able to answer my questions..." Eta spoke with an honest frown to her face as she eyed me like a problem she needed to figure out and I couldn't help but chuckle as her face scrunched up into a cute thinking face as she wondered how she could get my attention but not entirely. "Should I simply visit you at night too-" She started before shaking her head. "No, the beastkin will throw things or attack me outright if I steal their timeslot with you... Could you just stare at my forehead instead of my breasts?" She bluntly asked I burst into laughter at her innocent question as she didn't give a damn if I ogled her.
She only cared that I wasn't giving her my full mental attention.
"Oh, Eta you are so pure Hahaha." I chuckled as she pouted before she blinked and her response made me choke on my laughter.
"Then if we copulate here in the hot tub that will wipe away any scent and fluids with its cleaning spells, then will you be able to fully devote your attention to me?" She asked with her dull tired eyes having a flare of manic energy I could only see when something tickled her manic research mode into action.

Wow..didn't expect that's what Eta's personality was like. Its certainly refreshing. Tell me, author-kun; is she more of an Aizen, an Urahara, or a Kurotsuchi?
