🕑 Added 2023-05-09 17:38:27 +0000 UTC"Jake, it's nice to see you again!" Serafall waved excitedly and I nodded wryly as the last time I saw her, she royally pissed off Rias by making an off-handed offer for me to join her peerage so it was probably for the best Rias wasn't here now.
Sirzechs chuckled seeing his overly expressive colleague frantically waving at me and then he spoke up. "You ready to leave for the Olympus Jake?" He asked with a bit more of serious weight in his voice and I nodded.
"Yeah I am ready if you guys are, and I will be taking Ei, and Arcueid with me," I said and with a mental flex, I had the blond vampire clad in an ornate dress push through my shadow and stand beside me as Ei ended her conversation with her swordsmanship teacher Okita Souji to also stand beside me.
"Awww... The combination between the two of you is so cute! Arcueid with her Western features and golden hair contrasts so well with Ei's Eastern features and dark purple hair, I need to get them on my show immediately!" Serafall shouted and Ei's head tilted to the side in confusion.
"I don't want to show my panties on your show or get groped by magical tentacles like you have your shows side heroine's experience," Ei said bluntly, and when Serafall bluntly pointed out how her short dress and slit in the side of her dress clearly showed her panties Ei shook her head. "This dress was designed by Master so it is perfect and I like him looking at me." She said bluntly I covered my face as Serafall looked at me in some kind of betrayal.
At that, I clapped my hands. "Alright! Let's get out here!" I said with a wry smile. With the pleasantries out of the way, Sirzechs stood beside Grayfia as we came together into a tighter circle and with a flash of crimson light Sirzechs made a teleportation sigil that sang of his great power and then we were captured in another flash of crimson light as we were teleported to Olympus.
I could feel it when Sirzech's portal reached the wards of Olympus as we literally hit a magical wall and Sirzechs snorted disdainfully at the power game of a trick the Greeks were playing on us.
At this insult of a welcoming, Power of Destruction filled his eyes and our forms that were covered in the crimson light of the Gremory teleportation sigil were sent hurtling through space further into Olympus's wards as Sirzechs seemingly conceptually destroyed the wards that blocked our entry with a bored wave of his hand that sent a tidal wave of screaming annihilation through the wards.
With a final flash of light, we were deposited onto a sort of landing pad, and as soon as we landed a loud bombastic voice called out. "Woah woah woah guys!" I looked over and I basically instantly recognized Apollo as no one else in Olympus probably looked like he was in his late twenties with literal sun-like golden hair that hurt my eyes to look at.
"There was no reason to break through the wards when you came early... That bit of aggression isn't looking that great for so-called peaceful negotiations you know?" Apollo teased and Sirzechs only flatly looked at the sun god before speaking concisely.
"We are actually fashionably late. According to the memo you had Hermes deliver. our procession was supposed to land five minutes ago." Sirzechs retorted bluntly and Apollo paused before smiling.
"Oh my bad I meant to say you guys were late so we thought the meeting wasn't going to happen at all and just closed the wards back down." He said shamelessly and I wanted to punch the dumbass in the face.
Thankfully Serafall being the leader of foreign affairs was able to get the wheels turning as she just as shamelessly showed the memo Hermes delivered and Apollo could say nothing else and only pout as he led and then began to lead us up the through the ornate and opulent roads that crisscrossed the flying mountain realm of Olympus.
"So you the kid who turned that Phenex brat into a hot chick?" Apollo asked as he lead us toward the amphitheater that was apparently chosen as the venue for our faction meeting and I held in a sigh as I had long realized this Apollo was a contrary asshole who only seemed to find joy in putting himself above others in conversation or otherwise suppressing others.
"Yup, that's me..." I answered dully and I felt Ei's thin fingers push into my own hand as she held it while Arcueid held my other arm.
"Dude, do you think you could give one of my priestesses a bit of a tune-up, you know?" He whispered loudly obviously hintingly with his eyebrow bouncing up and down.
"What do you mean by that specifically?" I asked for clarification dully as honestly, Apollo was less of a bombastic god and more of a child with too much power I noticed even Sirzechs and Grayfia only responded with terse simple responses when he tried to engage them and likewise Serafall would only give noncommittal answers to whatever Apollo brought up.
Apollo wryly smiled almost embarrassed and as he answered my flat face turned to stone. "Well you know, she is only a demi-goddess so she is getting on years with how she is getting into her twenties and unfortunately I blinded her when I entered my divine form when I nutted so yeaaaahhh could you at least give her a new set of peepers when you bring her back to her golden years?" He asked excitedly and for a moment I felt my arm tense as I mentally went through the whole motion of taking my arm out of Arcueid's so I could lay a haymaker into asses face.
But I just blandly spoke. "Ohhh... No, I only work on friends for mutual benefits. If we are here having to have a meeting we are obviously having issues." I deflected his request and Apollo sagged a bit and childishly pouted but I felt a flare of killing intent from the god aimed at me but Sirzechs snorted with a titanic weight of his power falling upon the sun gods shoulders.
"Enough Apollo, he has no interest in fixing one of your broken toys," Sirzechs said coldly and Apollo eyed the incarnation of destruction before silently turning around and throwing open the doors to the massive amphitheater/Colosseum the meeting and games for this meeting/event were supposed to take place.
"In the name of Phoebus Apollo, I welcome the Devil faction of the Abhramic Faith to this grand meeting!" Apollo started with a bombastic cheer as he flew out into the center of the Colosseum and as he spoke I realized my refusal was going to bite me in the ass as he began speaking about the wargames the devils and Greeks were going to have in the name of 'fair competition' to get rid of any hard feelings before official negotiations were going to start.
