🕑 Added 2023-05-18 22:12:02 +0000 UTCTo say the least, I honestly didn't know what to say so my awkward expression was well evident but the masters clearly were waiting for me to answer so I wryly responded in somewhat denial. "I am from America, so I doubt the grandmaster is my... Grandfather." I said plainly but they weren't satisfied with just that.
"Jake, do you know who your father is?" Kensei asked and I literally didn't want to answer these dumbass questions... Had nothing to do with the fact that I was raised by a single mother in my life and didn't actually know anything about said father but my face twitching and holding a silent face made them sigh.
"Saiga like his father was a traveling himbo, in his youth before he settled down," Kensei added on to Koetsuji who nodded with his face in a serious frown.
"Yup, it's undoubtable at this point..." Koetsuji muttered. "He has Saiga's glare and his blond spiky hair... Hmm, actually his eyes are kinda a softer blue, perhaps from the mother?" He mused as he seemingly took me in.
Even Kasumi and the other girls checked me out in hopes of seeing that mystery link to the Superman/Grandmaster's lineage.
"Look let's not get ahead of ourselves here," I said bluntly and the master's raised an eyebrow at my words. "I came here for martial arts training and conditioning, let's not make a bunch of drama out of this." I finished and the two men shared a look and wryly smiled.
Kensei took over the conversation as he stroked his mustache, "Well in either case, you need to meet the Grandmaster if you plan to actually lodge here at the dojo in one of the apartments... So let's go meet him!" Kensei finished excitedly and I couldn't help but facepalm as Kensei's desire to see obviously fireworks flying was clear to all.
"Wait we want to come too!" Marie called out excitedly and then the petite blond grabbed her friend Honaka to drag her along as Kasumi also came over to us obviously interested to find out how this was going to go down.
A chuckle rang out as Kensei obviously found this situation to be funny as hell and I couldn't help but throw the shameless man a glare as the fucking short man all but skipped as he lead me to the main building of Ryouzonpaku where Hayato Furuinji the Grandmaster lived. But at least the company during the short walk was pleasant.
"So, what made you decide to come to Ryouzonpaku and not the other more public dojo's," Honoka asked while I took in the pink-haired voluptuous martial artist and could tell beyond the bit I knew of her personality from the Dead or Alive games that she was like Marie in being super cheerful for the most part.
I paused at the question before shaking my head as I couldn't say they my interdimensional reincarnation agent decided to just drop me off at the front door so I used some of my background knowledge to answer. "Well, the dojo is kinda famous for stealing the plaques of other martial arts dojo so why not come to the best to learn?" I answered and Honoka's face twitched up into a smile as she seemingly remembered such scenes.
But Kasumi came in with the more interesting question that made everyone including Kensei perk up in interest. "So what was that martial arts style previous? It was like the Grandmaster's mixed martial arts a bit with the hints of the Mantis style, the Sekukien, and some other stuff?" She asked obviously curious about how I obviously a complete novice was able to get a hit on her at all.
I wryly smiled as I knew this question was going to come. Hell, I knew this question was going to be asked a lot so I came prepared to be as shameless as hell. "It's my own Martial Art as far as I know now after losing contact with my previous master. Its called The Water Streaming, Rock Smashing Fist." I finished and the girls shared a look at the long ass name but Kensei actually frowned at my words.
"And what was your master's name?" He asked conversationally but we both knew that the creator of the The Water Streaming, Rock Smashing Fist was something that needed a grandmaster to create as the auxiliary breathing technique was enough to allow me a novice to trade blows for a few moments with Kasumi who had been training since she could fucking walk.
And Grandmasters in this Martial Arts world was literally a walking military asset with the mayhem they could cause in an enclosed area. So with Grandmasters needing to fight to reach their level, there was no such thing as hidden Grandmasters as they needed to sharpen their skills to reach the level at which their bodies could literally block bullets and avoid other ways of modern suppression.
"His name is Bang," I said before smiling and then saying that yes his name was literally just Bang and that I actually laughed as I explained how his brother's name was actually Bomb and I shuddered at the power Bang's older brother had... But an introspective look came to my face as I considered if it was possible...
Could I recreate Bomb's complete bullshit Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist, that was the complete opposite in Bang's more defensive and countering Water Streaming Rock Smashing Fist.
But my thoughts were cut off as Kensei spoke up. "Well, I can tell your arent lying... But there is no Grandmaster by the name of Bang, And I would know as there are less than two hundred living Grandmasters in the entire world so I know them all." Kensei said wryly before shrugging. "Perhaps he and his brother used an alias but for what reason he taught you the forms to the martial arts and its techniques without actually training your physique to match it will be known in time I suppose," Kensei said carelessly, and then his eyes flashed with a sort of light as we reached the main building and he took a breath.
"Alright so let's go meet the Grandmaster Haha." Kensei laughed but I could tell the laugh was a bit forced as it seemed that having come over here that he was getting some... Second thoughts about his desire for entertainment.

Will he just switch between his Martial Arts or will he just wait to use the No-Sword-Style until he beings training with Shigure and say it was in a scroll that was left with him as an orphan as a legacy?
