The fucking rat Kyubey tried to be slick, but his feather-light touches upon our minds were all violently repulsed time and time again. Honestly, I think the only one happy by the end of class time was Homura as she was all but fucking skipping as she left after seeing Kyubey screech in agony as Serafall and I tore his mental probes apart.
For all that Kyueby was from some super-advanced technological race, they were seemingly conceptually incapable of properly understanding magic and DXD's internal base magic was a combination of mental, body, and soul energies that naturally fused together to form magical energy that we would use for most spells with many differences forming depending on what race and such, we were.
Anyway, Kyubey's mental touches to us Supernatural's with active mana and our soul and mental energies being so active made his touches painfully obvious. Serafall even sent me a magical message that perfectly encapsulated the feeling of Kyubey trying to enter our minds. 'No matter how feather-light someone rubs a turd against your skin... You can always smell the turd."
So once class was over Serafall and I did the most anime thing ever. We went to the roof of the massive school and found it conveniently perfectly empty. Which allowed the four people and mascot following us up to corner us for answers.
"Why are you being so mean to Kyubey!" A short blue-haired girl demanded with her finger stabbing into my chest making me blink at how brace she was to do that. But looking past her I saw my main interest in this world, Mami Tomoe had already transformed into her magical girl form and was loosely holding a musket in each hand while a dozen more floated around her.
Clearly ready to be used.
"I don't, and neither does my friend appreciate a monster touching upon our minds," I said wearing a cool smile as I looked directly at Kyubey and once again the little shit attempted to touch upon my mind but with another mental flex I squashed the mental probe making Kyubey violently twitch within Madoka's arms. "Touch upon my mind again... And there will be real consequences." I said with finality.
"Wait! Kyubey cannot speak to us humans without touching our minds though?" Madoka said holding Kyubey as though to comfort it and I rolled my eyes.
But before I could retort I felt Serafall lay a hand on my arm and her words made me freeze. "Kyubey, me and my boyfriend know well and true you are capable of speech. But regardless of that, I am curious about what you think of my boyfriend having magic without a wish being made?"
Then as she finished Serafall twirled in place with her school uniform falling apart as she put on her lewd magical girl costume along with her wielding her magical wand in her hand that wasn't holding my arm.
Kyubey seemingly glitched out of reality falling out of Madoka's arms as he padded over to Serafall and took in her magical girl form. And then he looked at me... Those empty almost pupilless eye's unnerved me a great deal. But he seemed to have gathered what he desired in his inspection as he finally spoke aloud but without moving his mouth weirdly enough. "I never granted a magical girl wish that gave magic to a boy... Nor have I accepted a girl's wish to be turned into a boy, nor has a magical girl ever given birth so you couldn't have inherited magic. So enigma, would you like to explain?" Kyubey asked genially.
For all that Kyubey was a sociopathic monster, he was never disrespectful or rude. He and his kind came to Earth to use Magical Girl's suffering as a fuel source to fuel the universe and end the concept of Entropy which was the same thing Scion back in Worm was doing who I would need to kill. I had no doubt that should the Incubators no longer need humans to fuel the universe they would gladly leave humanity be without another thought.
But they weren't. And I may already be a universe traveling harem collecting asshole, but farming humanity hits my 'fuck no' buttons... Even the Joker refused to work with a Nazi and killed the Red Skull in that Marvel/DC crossover after all.
I shook my head to his question and I spoke softly. "Questions that make no difference. I won't harp about your actions, personal, or your races... Either way, I want to ask, Kyubey the Incubator."
But before I could finally pop the question, Sayaka stood in front of me and poked me again making my eye twitch as she demanded. "Look I don't know what your big deal is, but acting all weird and cryptic isn't doing you any favors buddy! Now answer some questions or I... Mami will make you!" She said losing a lot of her steam and retreating as I held up a hand and within the hand formed a large spinning snowflake of ice to remind her I wasn't exactly human in this girl's eyes.
Mami was now very much aware of her musket's clicking to life as she raised them to aim at me but Serafall merely snapped her fingers. And in that moment Serafall clicked her finger Mami's body up to her neck was encased in hard magically enhanced Sitri ice that Mami couldn't break out of no matter what she did as she wasn't a melee-type magical girl.
I dismissed my magic from my hand and spoke calmly. "Let's all just calm down... No need to come to blows, it was merely proof of my ability." I said and I could feel Serafall's approval from the bond we shared as I continued. "Regardless of everything, I came here to speak to Kyubey among something else more important." I finished as I looked away from Mami who was somewhat relaxed understanding I wasn't going to hurt her friends.
Mami awkwardly coughed and shivered under the very cold temperature of the supernatural ice as she asked softly. "Ok, we are all friends here can you please let me go?" And Serafall only blinked with the ice shattering into icy dust that blew away in the fairly strong wind surrounding us on the school's roof.
"You want to ask for a wish, don't you young man?" Kyubey asked tilting his head to the side as he still didn't know my name and nor could he find it within this Earth's systems except for the obviously fake entry into this school.
Even as I nodded I felt Homura's eye's on my form tighten with her own magical energy pulsing making me tense as I waited for Sakuya lite to make a move like dropping a grenade at my feet or something, but nothing happened so I looked back at Kyubey who was clearly in thought.
"Your wishing power..." Kyubey drawled off before continuing as I rose an eyebrow before shrugging. "Your power of fate that could be converted into a wish is great indeed... Nowhere near Madoka's but you are capable of a great wish indeed." Kyubey mused and I realized that he was weighing his options.
Oh, I had no doubt he was ready and willing to fuck me over by making me into a 'witch' or something later on when my soul gem filled up with the suffering that came naturally to this universe. But it was clear he was weighing on changing tradition in only using female Grief Seeds in their entropy removal mission.
Kyubey finally shrugged and my face twitched as he said seemingly carelessly. "Oh very well, I will grant you a wish if you but tell me one thing." Kyubey said before he floated in front of my face with his pinkish-red eyes only inches away from mine as its voice returned but weighted with intention. "What is the name of the first magical boy? No I suppose Wizard would be a better name maybe?" He broke off mumbling while Serafall behind me snorted.
I thought about it for a second and honestly, I didn't see an issue with sharing my name, Kyubey wasn't some fey monster who could steal my soul with my name after all.
"My name is Jake Barris, and I already have my wish if that's alright," I said with a smile at how easy this was going besides the native girls being... Their angsty confrontational selves honestly.
But like the teenagers they were, they could be managed fairly easily when you knew the right levers to use. To my question, Kyubey tilted its head comically to the side as he said with what seemed like amusement. But I knew the creature was literally incapable of feeling any sort of emotion. "Well, what's new? Most girls debate upon their wish for a couple of weeks at the very least unless I find the girl in a moment of peril like Mami here." Kyubey said looking at their contractor who flinched at the memory of how she had literally moments to make her wish before she died.
It was honestly a bit like Isse's induction into Rias's peerage, she was dying and she either made the wish to Kyubey to survive or she died then and there... Though she didn't know the consequences of becoming a magical girl which was far worse than becoming a devil honestly.
I took a breath and as I spoke I felt my wish, my desire, change my very being with the Seal of Solomon itself shuddering under the power of my wish.
"I wish to see to have the ability to control the ability see the death of all thing. concepts and states by interfering with how they connect to reality!" I said and my vision violently changed. As I had basically took the key ability of one of the most dangerous entities in fiction. Void Shiki's Eye's of Death Perception.

Void Shiki can do so much more. She claims the ability to do anything she wishes, as being connected to it makes her an equivocal existence. She can also kill a concept such as the distance between her and an enemy, universal bending, sickness, mental weakness, time, etc. Beyond that, she can kill multiple things within a single motion. Thank God he went with Shiki Eyes and not the Stronger Variant held by Balor, his mind can adjust to the Mortal Variant of the Eyes, but he would probably Blow a few Fuses in his Soul with the Eyes that can make even those without DEATH die
