The Red Priest and Blue Slime Chapter 15

She typically spent a good chunk of her time in her new human form taking advantage of its different senses compared to her own slime form. But she would still take her natural slime form on occasion especially if she got overly emotional she would... Melt basically.
One major change we had was with the goblins we had. Due to the large number of evolved goblins we had, a lot of them continued to evolve depending on their ambition levels and become versions of goblins lords with Rigurd evolving into a goblin king which made him fairly physically strong, and of course, all the goblins respected him a good bit.
Not nearly enough to sway their respect from Rimuru or myself depending on who named them. But regardless the goblins had some respect for the sole goblin king in our village.
But beyond that, with my strengthened core that came from becoming a Provoker, I worked at making potent potions that were... Utterly broken.
Lord of Mysteries potions was weird, they were blending up concepts rather than merely the ingredients within the potions to reach a higher state of being within the effects of the concoctions.
And it turns out that when you have a healthy helping of conceptual fuckery going inside your body, the World Will itself of this universe of Tensura would digest the potion within someone to deny the eldritch foreign aspects within the person to avoid corruption. And in doing so, the concept within the potion would become a skill!
I could literally bottle fucking skills!
"Admittedly the skills aren't the greatest right now." I muttered as I inspected a glowing blue beaker that was filled with another potion of regeneration. "But there isn't a limit on the number of skills a person can have, and having regeneration skills to prolong someone's lifespan to say nothing of healing injuries cannot have its value understated," I spoke to myself as I mentally did some calculations on the ingredients I would need to brew a serving for everyone in the village to get a regeneration skill.
As I continued to work on the highly valuable potions in the cabin next to Rimuru so she could keep an eye on my brewing as we were... Painfully aware of how valuable this was even if we hadn't spread the news of it yet, I heard the crunching of the gravel outside of the cabin with my enhanced senses.
"Jake!" A goblin yelled and I looked up with a frown as my hands shook at the yell and I dropped in too much ingredients which made the heartily glowing potion turn a muddy dark meaning the refinement had utterly failed.
"What! Gobbami?" I said with some irritation at him ruining a couple of hours of work.
The goblins quickly spoke seeing my irritation. "I am sorry Lord! But Ogre's have come and are currently fighting our elites! Karna has already lost an arm!" He said making me scowl and after turning off the burners I dashed past the goblin using my Yatagarasu's flames beneath my feet I was able to glide at high speed towards the sound of battle in the distance.
The six Ogre's were what I remembered from canon in the typical cast. As I approached I saw Ragna and Sif fighting the darker haired tall hammer and dual weilding ogres while Karna with one hand using the spear he got the dwarves was fighting the red haired leader that would have become Benimaru.
I flared my mana send a pillar of black flames into the air and yelled. "Fucking enough!" I roared and everyone paused as my heavy mana fell on their shoulders. While hoping the pillar of mana would get Rimuru's attention.
I was fairly strong... But the old swordsman ogre Hakurou was a monster I couldn't just ignore with his utterly insane speed that went along with his rediculous swordsmanship.
"A human?" The red-haired leader spoke and I couldn't help but mentally groan at how hard it was to not call them by their names as they hadn't been named at all yet.
"Why are you attacking my people?" I demanded as I used my spiritual energy to pull Karna back to my side along with his arm while giving him one of Rimuru's top grade healing potions to begin reattaching the limb.
Even as I looked around, I saw that Karna was the only one who was majorly injured as the majority were seemingly knocked out but still breathing.
"My lord. The old one is extremely fast, and was the one who cut off my arm when I hurt their leader." Karna said wincing as he held his arm together to help it heal and I couldn't help but smirk seeing the gouge on who would become Benimaru's front chest plate that was leaking blood.
While the six Ogre's came together I heard a bouncing noise behind me and I didn't bother to look behind me as I knew it was Rimuru.
"She is one of the maijin who helped the evil pigs destroy our clans and kill all our people!" The red-headed ogre yelled and my eye twitched as I looked behind me and saw Rimuru in her human form and wearing the mask.
"Rimuru didnt destroy any clans! This is the wrong genre!" I yelled out helplessly as the huge-breasted form of Shion without another word rushed towards us and tried to smash us with her massive mace. And while Rimuru shamelessly dodged and left her with me with a heartless giggle as she went to smash the other ogres around.
I got stuck dealing with who would become Soeui, Shion, and Shuna.
"Stop looking at my breasts!" Shion growled as I dodged one of the swings of her mace and I scowled. As her mace cratered the ground I stomped it deeper into the ground with one foot, and with the other, I kicked her across the clearing with my other leg while saying bluntly.
"Then wear a damned bra. They look like they are going to hit me more likely than your mace will!"
After burning through Soui's shit quality dual swords I smacked him around a bit before likewise giving him a good chest kick that launched him in a tree and knocked the air out of him to keep him down for a bit.
Leaving only Shuna who had a handful of blue flames as she nervously looked at me while Rimuru and their leader had their drama.
But instead of attacking Shuna I spoke with a wry smile. "Can you please convince your friend to stop this, we had nothing to do with those 'evil pigs' you guys were talking about... Hell, this goblin village is new and we don't even know what's been going on with Veldora's disappearance causing chaos everywhere." I explain and Shuna bit her lips and with a moment of thought the short ogre priestess ran off to tell her brother to quit being an angsty little assmunch.

Pretty sure there IS a limit to the amount of skills you can have, as it takes up space inside your soul. Normally people aren't meant to have more than 1 or 2 Ultimate skills for example, or it would start destabilizing the soul, right? Then there's the skills that get bundled up into a single skill so it frees up space. Also, where did Fenrir go? He just kinda disappeared after the chapter where they ride to Dwargon.
