The future of Breed Laboratory

it is time to talk about the future of Breed Laboratory.
Information about the upcoming update v.0.40
v.0.40 will finish the Botanic segment of the game and will contain two new creatures. You can see one of them in the following pictures:
The development of v.0.40 barely started because of the holiday period in December, so it will take some time for its release. The update will have a few changes and additions to the lore and sets up the game towards the finishing line, which brings us to the next point:
Act 5 will be the last act
It is time to move the game towards the finishing line. The goal is to complete the story and have an ending, so the rest of the development can be focused on polishing and maybe adding some bonus content at certain places.
What comes next?
Slowly preparing a “Proof of Work” Demo of the next Game while continuing working on Breed Laboratory. The Idea is to take around 25% of the available development time into the new Project.
What is the new Project about?
The tags will probably stay the same, also the general style. In fact, the next project will most likely be a sequel of Breed Laboratory.
What exactly will the game be like is a bit uncertain, because there is a need to try out the things first and test, if the Ideas are working out as intended before things can be set in stone.

I should probably mention in the future that some images are rendered in Blender (Software for creating the 3D Models) and not in Unity (The Game Engine Blab is running on)

Nothing is set in stone yet but there will very likely be a new character. We'll see how things turn out :>

A sequel, sounds nice! I hope the MC still gets a happy ending and successfully escapes in this game though. Will the sequel be focused on a different character? Perhaps on this character's life once outside the lab? (learning how to fit in with regular society... or, something....?)
