6/22 Update!
🕑 Added 2022-06-14 10:00:05 +0000 UTCSo I lost a patron as soon as I posted the render of Bora & Mirii holding the pride flag. It's probably a coincidence, but when I posted it on Rule 34, it immediately got a ton of comments (more than every other picture, ever) with people arguing. Yay. Stuff like "get your dogshit politics out of this site" etc, etc...
In other news, I'm switching to upfront billing for Patrons, so that as soon as you become a patron, you get charged. This won't change anything for you guys, just new people coming in.
This is what Patreon's help section had to say:
What do my patrons experience if I switch from per creation to charge upfront?
We will honor your most recent billing selection. When you switch to charge upfront, it will override your previous billing model.
For example, let's say you change from billing per creation to charge upfront on September 14. Any paid posts you had published in September are invalid when you switch. Your existing patrons will be billed their subscription amount x 1 on October 1. In the future, existing patrons will have their subscription payments processed on the 1st of each month.
I've made this change for 2 reasons:
1) People could come in, get all the free content and leave without ever paying anything and leave before they were charged, which seemed a bit unfair.
2) More importantly though, I want to start annual discounts for people. There is an option to provide discounts for tier members if they buy an annual membership and I can only do that if I enable upfront billing first!
Again, this won't change anything for the folks who are already patrons, I just thought it would be more professional to let you guys know!
In terms of what's coming up next for Bora & Mirii, Cliona finally starts putting the hurt on our girls! Our heroines' mettle is tested, as is their love! I'm gonna have some free time coming up so expect some extra content π (nothing too fancy though, I'm still exhausted and depressed but I do want to do something nice for you guys π).
As for the other stuff, I'm still trying to grow my audience on Twitter and DeviantArt (almost 200 watchers there π), Hentai Foundry won't let me upload anything so I'm gonna focus on those. Maybe even start something on AO3 again, that generally gets a lot of traffic!
Anyway, that's about it for now, I'll be around more after next week! Until then keep it classy and take care of yourselves π

If they did leave because of the pride flag... their problem, NOT yours! Also regarding that Rule 34 website... let me guess, the comments were all anonymous right? Not worth the oxygen they waste by breathing!
Right you are! And thank you! I have some old Barbara Gordon/Oracle FanFiction up on there but that's it! It did some decent numbers so that might be a way of attracting new people!

If they did leave over a pride flag, then good riddance. It would also be interesting to see what stories you put on Ao3 if you're considering.
