Hi!
I really tried to get the Toon part of the Framework showase done this weekend,
Sadly i not came so far as i liked to.
Please if you want to be surprised by it don't watch the video and wait until i got it finished!
But i don't want to keep quiet about it much longer and want to show you what i did and what you can expect from the next release which sould be done in just a few days, the game is playable but some scenes need some polishing to stop clipping and to refine the animation dynamics and fluid simulation.
Also thanks for the awesome feedback for the minigame last time!

So what is it?
It's called "A Tigers Dream"
It is a Short (playtime between 30 and 60 minutes) Story Adventure,
my goal was to tell a Story that plays inside the Aladdin universe and feels like a full story you would get in a episode of it.
The video above shows you just the Introduction,
the core features are Cuddling and Corruption, Mirage has a Plan to make Rajah her pet >3
This game was planned to be part of the Framework showcase, but will now be a Standalone release, like the two other parts of the Framework showcase
(Frost: Meeting Mistress Frost)
(Harem: Kitties at your Home)
Are the other two parts, right after release of this toon part i will continue working on the Harem Kittis at your Home and after that the Meeting with Mistress Frost.
Getting the Tigers Dream into a standalone game and "finishing" it took me the last two weeks, the workload for the other two games should be the same (I hope).
What really was hard to get right was Jasmines Hair...
i can't simulate her hair so i had to animate it, but this means i can't use dynamics on the ribcage and head....
i thought, found a nice workaround by building a custom controller that keeps the end of her hair where i want it and calculate the center with some dynamic so it's not clipping too much.
I also made a alternative outfit for our favorite kitty, you will love it! ^_^
There is also a nice little world to see and explore,
You may know those furniture items, i tried to remake the Palace/Jasmines private rooms as close to the Series as possible,
Low polycount = Happy Graphicscard
I also got yesterday my New/Old Graphics card back YaY, so no more 460gtx and i finally can work without waiting all the time until shaders are compiled.
One good thing about my dead graphics card was, that i could test my code with very slow hardware and found some places where i could squeeze out some more frames per second, i also prebaked all light with this project for that i had to make lightmap uv's for most models but it was worth it.
With my 3060gtx i get solid 60 fps on high/ultra settings, without prebaked light its more like 30fps.

Found a way to change Hair Color + "Rougness/Normal" by using Vertex color and the Fur deph information i put in the Vertex shader earlier.
You may notice her Fur Color changes on her Face and Belly, this is basically making short fur more white and "finer" while long Hairs are more dark and have higher normal values to make the hairs stand out.

i try to have it, it is a ending scene. Just not happy about the fur texture at the moment so i repaint it right now! Fluffy tiger Jasmine must be really cute ^^ Maybe if i don't get her done in time i add that ending scene with an update, but i would really like to have it in there just because it would be much fun having a scene with Mirage X Rajah X Furry Jasmine at the same time cuddling.

Not planned at the moment, but everything is 100% compatible because it uses my framework. It would be nice to have, but i think not on initial release but don't know this exactly right now, In Harem Jasmine has a different "Story"/Animation modes. Rajah will be there as Male tiger to play if you want, also he is the Fastest character when running so he is good for exploration.

It should run good on slower cards than the 3060gtx, the prebaked light and distance culling saves alot of fps, I also modeled everything pretty optimized and there are like 800mb of vram for the texture streaming which is pretty low for a modern game. How well ran the minigame last post? Was it playable? One thing I always wanted to try was a pure video version of that game a bit like '' cuddly night'' which should even run on a toaster 🐱

Seeing the new card you got my heart sank. My card won't be able to keep up with the game if it requires a 2k dollar graphics card. I cannot find or afford one until next year at best. The extra fur alone got me nervous but now... I will have to buy a whole new rig to play the game. This in not feasible in the slightest. I really REALLY hope you can add a toggle because if the game will force the fur shaders and max graphics to play... I will be sol on yet another game I have been supporting for a long time. Please let us who cannot get a card get a way to play without it being 5 frames per second. 😥
