As someone who just worked his first 2 days at a new job, I can't show enough gratitude for how far a good networking system will get you. All of the jobs I've had were the result of a manager that recruited me, and even when I had to quit a few of them for different reasons, I never burned any bridges. Depending on the field you're trying to get into, is it possible that you can connect with anyone locally to put in a good word for you? I have had zero success without having someone vouch for me and so I worked at proving them right. I don't know what's available to you or what resources you're working with but I was looking at Randstad as a source for local temp work, you just give the app the criteria you have and what you're looking for and as long as you have a friend who'll vouch for you, I think that's a good choice. In any case, we're rooting for ya!
