Progress Report, 27/09 - 19
🕑 Added 2019-09-27 15:27:09 +0000 UTCFridays are for recuperating after yet another week, and spilling some dark secrets regarding project work.
It'll come as no surprise to anyone that the Alexstrasza project, as of writing, is the longest one I've ever had in the works. Surprisingly, SFM seems to handle the RAM load with no issues, so it seems the models involved are very well optimized. The old dick models are still annoying me, but it's becoming increasingly unfeasible for me to switch them out the more scenes I add. In other words, the project is still moving forward, albeit at a slower pace than I want it to.
On the subject of speed, my sluggish existence at present can be attributed to my health, particularly my treatment. Chemo annihilates your immune system, and makes you feel terrible in all ways imaginable - I'm not looking to spill my sob story here, I'm mainly trying to explain why things have been coming slowly lately. 2019 has been one heck of a year, with a rough start with overtime during winter and spring, followed by job transitioning and other life related matters. Let's hope things ease up now that autumn is rolling in.
And speaking of autumn, keep a look out for an upcoming Halloween poll. I intend to include every single lady featured in the past in it in order to decide what to do for something of a Halloween short (no longer than a minute, or perhaps just a loop with sound) where people will get to vote on multiple options in order to gauge general interest. I've always wanted to do seasonal stuff more regularly, as to have more content for my backers to look forward to, though I've always been strapped for time :)
Brief, but down to the point. Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! I intend to answer to private messaging as soon as possible, but I need to have another lie-down before that can be accomplished. Just hang in there, and know I'd never ignore anyone :)
