Monday Loop Delay
🕑 Added 2021-04-12 09:14:37 +0000 UTCHello everyone, DH reporting in from his work computer here, hence the lack of any preview images or the likes.
I sadly put all my eggs in one basket this weekend, hoping to be able to push the Femshep Scenario out the door by having it render during the night, with the aim to have it edited and posted this evening. The project render however has resulted in some strange shadow artifacts, and I realize I might have to try different shadowing options, baking lighting and the likes, to make things like shadows not suddenly pop into existence with the way Eevee works in Blender. All in all, while I'm sure some would not mind too much, for me it looks jarring enough to make me want to redo the entire render or it would bother me for eternity.
In short, because I was foolishly counting on this to work out, I have nothing else prepared for this Monday, and thus have to push the loop, probably until next Monday from the look of things. I hope to be able to spend the coming week figuring out how to make it work properly, then get back to you with something actually worthy your time and attention. Wednesday Wallpaper will happen just as usual - I just need to get this damn Scenario sorted over the coming days, with the limited time I have.
My apologies for all this and thank you for sticking with me, even as I fumble my way forward while learning this, to me, still new program. Hopefully something good comes out of it, in the end.

I'm happy enough the Scenario is just around the corner, thanks for getting it "nearly" rendered even when swamped in your 9-5 work! I for one enjoy these detailed updates, get to learn more about the pipeline for getting this art out the door for delivery :)

Completely normal and acceptable! You can’t expect things to go smooth, so you have to work around it anyways. We’ll be happy to wait, I think, I know I am, for a project that meets your standard! Just be sure to take care of yourself as well! :D
