🕑 Added 2020-06-15 19:01:00 +0000 UTCHello everyone and welcome to a very brief update on my computer problems. I got a notification today about my new GPU having arrived, and picked it up immediately after work before subsequently installing it. Whereas my previous card, having suffered immensely from sag and damage, operated at 95C even with 100% fan speed, this card appears capable of running at ~60C even at fan speeds as low as 40%.
In other words, we're no longer in danger of emergency shutdowns during renders, and we're thus, as things look, back in business. I hope to have a wallpaper set up for this Wednesday, where upon updates will resume in accordance to the usual schedule.
In other news, we did manage to get Benezia added to Aardvark's voting system, so let's hope she gets put on the wheel! Thank you for being patient with me and, as always, for supporting me and my work. It's worth more than you think :)
