Progress Report, 10/07 - 20

Hello everyone and welcome to a brief progress report!
The past week has been as busy as ever, mainly spent posing and structuring around the Tifa Blender Project - though I am uncertain about the scene itself and have nothing to share at the moment, I think it's beginning to lean towards Tifa having a run-in with a certain Don in the FFVII universe. We shall see :)
In other news, the Lulu DazV5 model is officially "abandon released", with Aardvark expressing massive distress over the model's refusal to work with him and thus releasing it in a semi-finished state. The hair in particular appear to have caused him a lot of agony, which is something we thankfully sidestep entirely with our way of animating her. I've tried the release in question, and it is largely superior to the old one, closer to canon in terms of design, skin tone, and has better deformation for movement, the whole ordeal. A brief jiggle test also ensured that the bones behave like they should, and I have seen no issues yet.
As such, while the poll has some time to run still (courtesy of me having screwed up with the end-date) the overall voting seems overwhelming in favor of waiting for it, which I am happy for. While we won't be able to utilize a semi-clothed state of her amazing "sorceress" uniform, courtesy of the outfit lacking the bodymorph sliders, we can none the less fit her with an array of other interesting bits such as the Elizabeth stripper outfit. I figured it'd be very much like Lulu to wear something like that under her clothes, all things considered :)
In this regard, I will be working to implement this superior V5 version of Lulu into the on-going LotW2 project. It'll mean a bit of a delay, but I reckon it'll be worth it in the end.
In other news, my Blender learning continues, where the model roster is slowly but surely growing into a more respectable size. From the looks of it, Resident Evil got a really big upswing in popularity with the remakes of the older games, so here we are with some quality models on our hands! In terms of SFM models, I am still hoping that the wheel spins in favor of what I want, but I can recommend regardless that you all head over to Aardvark and vote for your chosen model to be added to the wheel :)
Also, I am also once again attempting to hail Bangfri regarding my lady orc model. I know he's a busy man, so we'll see if we reap any success this year! Still itching to start that WoW comic/animation of mine.
... I wonder if we can get a hold of a VA who does lady orc voices well.
Anyway! As always, thank you so much for your continued support, and for all of your kind words! The weather is slowly turning towards heat again, and with high summer in full force, it's hardly surprising. I thank the paltry fan I bought years ago for existing, and hope you people are holding up well. Stay hydrated, and keep washing them hands!
