Progress Report, 24/07 - 20

Though the weeks are consistently brutal these days, I have none the less managed to successfully replace V4 Lulu with V5 Lulu in all previously posed and animated shots. Additional posing has been completed, with the Nekker scenes fleshed out and given lighting, etc, standing effectively ready for animation. The Kimahri introduction scene is underway in terms of re-animation, and though the campfire intro is rather finicky to get working I believe I've found something suitable for it. The Minotaur scenes are being posed at the moment, and I have a pseudo-finished scene of Tidus being rudely interrupted in his chess play to show for it. The project is finally making notable headway, making it much less frustrating to sit down with it every time I find the time to do so, and although I still am nervous over how the greenscreen time-warp setup I've made will pan out, I find myself more excited with trying it out than fearful over it :)
All in all, the project with the scenes roughly hewed out has stretched into 9 minutes long - but I will be working backwards from this, cutting and trimming it, so it will no doubt be significantly shorter than that. Though expect it at least to be one of the longer projects I've done, possibly even in line with the Alexstrasza project in length. Render quality will be upped as well owing to forced camera settings, ensuring we don't suffer quite as grainy a fate as we have in the past, even for 720p releases.
Writing this quickly and remotely from work as I sadly see myself working overtime today. Another late Friday, but hey, at least things are moving, meaning we get ever closer to release :)
As always, thank you so incredibly much for your continued support, and for all of your kind words! When we hit a stride like this, the release should be encroaching quickly, so let's hope our flow doesn't stop :)
