No Matter The Tournament

Hordes of obscene, hulking monstrosities who lavished in their vulgarity seemed to saturate every single tournament, no matter where she went. How they were allowed to participate was evidently owed to some loophole in fighting tournament rules, where ancient decrees stated that nakedness was in fact considered a handicap, and something honorable.
There was nothing honorable with the veritable mass of meat that she had faced over the last few months, particularly as she'd quickly realized that they weren't so much blithe about their state as they actively reveled in it. Her victories as such carried with them a feeling of unease - not truly hollow, but something more alien. The eagerness by which a naked monster would subject himself to a grapple felt mostly... weird? Throwing him outside the bounds of the arena floor with his meat spinning comically like a propeller after him wasn't the moment of triumph she was used to, no matter how loudly his compatriots and the crowd cheered. It all felt, somehow, out of place - yet there was no arguing that they fought with all their might, clearly intent on besting her in the arena, so while she climbed the ladder of tournament after tournament, she could only guess what their actual goal was.
More alarming though, their grander schemes and the comical aspect wearing itself thin aside, she had come to realize that she had more pressing concerns on her hands - namely, her own mental state.
That is, though they physically were little match for her prowess, their presence had evidently begun to wear on her in other ways. The first sign of this had been Mai, slowly but surely, finding her eyes drawn to places where they did not belong. Worse still, the creatures in question took immediate and great pleasure in noting her distracted state, and the more the color of her face began to resemble that of her garb, the more jovial the accursed things seemed to get. Yet the repeated physical punishment she delivered them seemed to make little difference as to their attitude - each and every opponent becoming only more brazen, more excited about the prospect of meeting her in the arena, and her eyes and mind grew all the more distracted.
Perhaps it would teach them a lesson if she, herself, was to turn up in something more risqué...
