Before Supper

The two orcs, either brothers or subject to her inability to differentiate between their kind, would walk up to her, wherever that may be - sprawled in the bath or on the furs, or occupied with some other momentary nonsense - and then stare at her wordlessly. She would rise in response, for words were not truly necessary, not for these moments in time - days, or perhaps weeks, she had little means of knowing, had no doubt passed since she took refuge in their camp. Even the shifting of her goddess above had blurred together, Tyrande's attention being so out of sync that Elune's phases seemed to change before her very eyes, sometimes appearing in full, sometimes offering but a sliver of her light. Yet always, her silvery rays would trail in through the roof of the hut, seemingly blessing what she and the brothers did - bathed in the iridescence of moon and fire, each and every time seeming so very vivid, and so very, very clear.
"Thrall's balls... Zhekar wasn't lying..."
Tyrande had always been of the mind that the guttural tongue of orcs would never be anything but unpleasant to her ears, but amidst this, her shivering form sandwiched between their bulky bodies, it seemed to blend seamlessly with their generously expressed approval - nonsense mixed in with moaning - something Tyrande found extremely delectable. Perhaps it was this, her particular inability to follow along that made her able to simply enjoy the moment, a lack of tangible words offering her a refuge in the raw physicality of it all, bereft of distractions.
"It's like a hand squeezing- ohhh..."
Tyrande's lips curled into a smile. Taur-ahe was comparatively easy to follow, and Elune knew she'd had plenty of opportunity to speak it, but she could still grasp snippets of orcish now and then.
"Finally got your turn, eh? She's... mmhh... worked through the entire barracks twice already..."
"Patrol duty... oohh... out in the sticks..."
"Welcome back to civilization."
Had she not been terribly busy, she might have been able to pick up a few key words, perhaps make sense of their blathering.
But it was soon time for supper, and they were, as usual, working up quite the appetite.

Monday loop where Tyrande takes the floor with a classic old orc DP. I haven't been 100% lately owing to what appears to be an inner ear infection, but I think this one came out pretty well, all things considered. Hopefully you enjoy it.
Two notes:
First, as I might have to get some rest this week, the Wednesday Wallpaper is a bit in the air at the moment. It depends on what news I get from the doctor today and whether this swings towards me getting better as opposed to worse. Regardless, you'll either see it land, or you won't - but at least you'll know it's not from a lack of trying on my part :)
Second, don't forget to vote in the celebration poll for hitting 20.000 twitter followers! It's a quite even race and while we have our top contenders, it's got quite a lot of days left to run so you never know what might happen!
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words. Though life and health sometimes does get in the way of what I try to do here, all I can do is keep going forward, for there is no other alternative. That path leads me to bed in the moment, where I'll assume horizontal position until I hear back from my doctor and probably will have to drag myself into town.
