Health report, 08/03 - 24

I've been on the road to recovery for a couple of days now and have finally managed to reach a state where I can sit, somewhat comfortably, in front of the computer again without feeling like my head is trying to send me into the afterlife. I'm stocked up on painkillers, coughing meds, nasal sprays and I believe everything else under the sun used to combat this plague, so I'm confident that I'll be able to return to work for the weekend, where it's time to sort out the Less Popular Ladies animation.
The previous poll winner, Lulu, will subsequently have her animation resolved during next week, portioned out between Tuesday and Thursday (I'm still doing the Wednesday wallpaper, do not worry), possibly with her release on Friday, if all goes to plan.
Thank you so much everyone for your patience and understanding, and for all your kind words and well-wishes. I don't get this sick often, and usually not for this long, so it must've been one hell of a package that old fella sent me at the gym (yes I am still blaming him) - but suffice to say I would not have recovered as quickly hadn't I gotten the peace to properly rest the way I have, which is thanks to you all. I hope you're doing well out there folks, wherever you are. It's going to be damn good to be back.

Reading your experience with your gym fellow, DH, I can't help but visualize the scene where Ben Stiller is attempting to get the flu in the 'Our House' movie. I know it may sound mean to joke about that, but since you seem to be on your way to recovery, I guess there is some allowance for a little attempt at humor. Take care in any event, DH, and have a nice week-end, all things considered !
