Progress Report, 21/07 - 23

With my extended family finally having left earlier this week, I'm back in action. Have you ever had a whole bunch of people over in a hurried fashion where you scramble at every turn to just make things work, and when they leave you simply sit there on your chair in an eerily empty place and feel like a flood victim? I love my family, but it would be a lie to claim that I'm not happy for the solace of it being just me and the wife again.
Also, I can sit and work in my damn underwear again.
Anyway, with Blender having once again thrown a bunch of updates our way, particularly during my absence, I've had to go through the gallery somewhat to see what future plans of mine have been compromised and not. While most models seem to be intact the Leguylemef lineup appears to have suffered in particular, so I will have to wait for a fix for those afflicted - it remains to be seen whether the work-around I made up on the spot is sustainable for animation purposes. Until then, I need to tread carefully so I don't promise to feature a model that simply does not work. Regardless, I've taken this as an opportunity to update some of the models in the gallery, with the butt above belonging to a significantly more bottom-heavy Chun-Li that I hope to feature at some point.
Speaking of models, Sif from God of War came out victorious in the recent Scenario poll, and is to be paired up with a Large Monster of some kind. The Discord crew is currently getting their votes in (a process I've extended to run for 2 instead of 1 measly day) with posing starting tomorrow Saturday. In Alley Crew news, we'll have the next poll start the 27:th, so for y'all in that tier, keep your eyes peeled.
In terms of larger projects, I'm tentatively considering promising to begin work on Continued Negotiations once Rigid has released his new lineup of Mass Effect models in their 1.0 state. While I've scrambled the meet model demands for the new polling systems and tier changes as of late, I've been itching to get back to working on something truly big again instead of rolling between half-projects fueled by Twitter follower numbers or the likes - to get back to something that truly catches my attention. Speaking of, I just hit 30.000 followers on Twitter, for which I am thankful, but I think I'll celebrate this one with just a wallpaper or the likes instead of polling and slapping together yet another pseudo-project to put on the pile of things that don't really grasp my creative interest yet stares at me from the darkness of my hard drives. On that note, I'll be trying to sort out the Ivy short as soon as can be, with the current 2-loop-1-scenario a month setup offering me some more freedom for how to allot my time, and with the model work pipeline finally calming down a bit I see a crucial opening to get it sorted.
I'm also extremely curious how Rigid's updated Liara will look :)

The weather's plunged into rains and thunder over here, giving us some much needed respite from the heat as the rest of the world, seemingly, is on fire, so I dearly hope you're alright out there, wherever you might be.

"Flood victim" LOL, can't go wrong with some family time!....just don't ever get to the point where it feels like it's too much. Glad to see the new release schedule has got your juices going again on certain projects. Have a great weekend bro!
