Dust kicked up, irritating enough to force a cough, but he drank in another breath with the desperation of a drowning sailor. Above him, the block of concrete shifted, slid out further, and just as he feared it would come down on top of him, was instead lifted straight upwards and tossed aside.
"Found one."
Gold gleamed in the dusk above, a flickering fire nearby lending bronze to scarred skin rippling with musculature, two slits of brilliant light staring down at him from the frame of a gilded helmet. Delicate fingers reached down towards him from above, plump lips parting to speak.
"Take my hand."
The voice was soft, yet compelled him to obey, and he found himself pulled free from his prison, soon standing on unsteady legs with the din of sirens and the surrounding chaos rushing in to fill his ears.
But his eyes did not tray.
Not from her.

Angela grabs another consolation wallpaper, having come second in the Less Popular Ladies Discord vote once more. I don't know a ton about her as a character but I do very much like her design - hope you enjoy it folks :)
Thank you everyone, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! The Scenario got a good amount of work into it this weekend and I'm looking forward to finishing it up come next weekend, though we'll probably have a few days of spill-over as usual since I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew for these things. Either way, I hope you all had a good weekend, and please take care of yourselves out there, as well as each other!
