🕑 Added 2025-06-25 17:15:37 +0000 UTCHi guys, my presence is required in Mexico. It is of the urgent variety that absolutely causes headaches and having to spend money and time you didn't think you'd have to. Literally, this came out of the blue.
I will not have my desktop starting today onwards (it will be in luggage), and we'll be traveling via land. It will suck ass. It'll also have a shit ton of stops in comparison to my usual travel route (big ass travel bus with sweet seats and AC) since it'll be in a car... where you have to pay a shit ton of toll booths. (Do not be surprised if KaE has a lot of anti-toll booths propaganda in the future writing as im sure itll traumatize me.)
Due to the nature of my visit, I will not be able to work on KaE until next Monday for sure while im over there.
That's five days that I need extended before releasing an update to you guys, since I originally wanted to give you folks something 2 weeks after the public demo was released. That meant releasing in early July.
Since that is no longer possible, I'll be designating the 8th of July as the new release date for the next update. That should give me just enough time to write and finish the "foundation" of the second act (which is where the story branches off to the three routes naturally), and begin the Squire Route in earnest by landing north of Lake Serenith.

This was not how I wanted the next update to go. I wanted to hit the ground running and literally CHUCK updates at yall to enjoy since I'm having so much fun just in drafting.
I don't know how long it'll be until I get back. It's one of those trips that give you the stank face.

In the meanwhile, ill be using today to find what I can release to yall as Patreon goodies. Since I can still use my phone, i might do character interviews, polls, idk lol. I'll find something!
