If Natsu was under the influence of Nirvana it wouldn't mean he'd use Ice. When they said "the elements are switched", they were mainly referring to the twin elements of light and dark. I think canonically Light and Darkness are the only elements that are confirmed opposites in the show

Grand Magic Games arc is my favorite by far. It really lets them show off just how strong the members of Fairy Tail are. It is not going to be for a good while though. My 2nd favorite is the Edolas arc which is coming after the next arc.
