dont think we will see a true SAO like game till we can do full dive vr, and not sure we will see that for many many years, we will still get some pretty good games i think in the next 5-10 years with the vr tech we have, with haptic suits and such but sadly wont be anywhere near SAO levels, maybe once neurolink and other computer/brain interaces improve, my perdictions is like 20-25 years.

There have already been a few different VRMMORPGs, but the controls of current gen VR make it a bit awkward since the best form of movement is normally teleporting. Honestly, I'm kind of glad no one has made a VR SAO game yet since in VR's current state it would be a bit of a let down.
