I've seen people make fun of the end of this fight for "power of friendship" which it is. However, people tend to make fun of it because "Erza shouldn't have won, they just make her win all the sudden because of believing in her friends and her friends believing in her". However, technically if I haven't misunderstood something there is more too it. Azuma could have won the fight simply using his own powers. He chose to use the magic he had "stolen" from the Fairy Tail guild, magic belonging to Erza's friends. In universe magic is a reflection of emotion and is "alive". Therefore the magic chose to protect Erza as it is a reflection of her friends feelings towards her. In other words, while it is power of friendship, it is a lore usage of the power of emotions in general, and Azuma himself made a tactical mistake chosing to use that magic, ignoring the "aliveness" of magic power. Azuma is a sick villain, and I love that this tactical oversight is what makes him lose, as it isn't due to a lack of strength. Which makes him an even cooler villain.

Can I just say, Azuma was a really cool villain. Badass design, sick magic, and pure love for the fight. Grimoire heart would have won if Azuma wasn't so addicted to testing his strength he gave Erza a chance for a fair fight. Such a cool villain. The way he accepts his loss at the hands of someone strong too saying "excellent". What a villain.

ahh, sorry, it's 1-4 on apple too. I have a physical copy of the FT Original Sound Collection Vol 2 that has Tartaros/Zero OST's that I got on Amazon a few years ago. Holy crap...I just went searching and apple has a LIVE album! Fairy Tail Live: Music Festival of the Dragon King! I've never added an album so fast in my life! The first song...Dragon Force :) EDIT!!! Angel don't get the live soundtrack! There are major spoilers in the damn song titles!! FFS!! The first 4 soundtracks are safe, the song titles are in Japanese, and I'm pretty sure you have made it far enough that you have heard them all anyway. The live album has music from arc's you haven't reached yet.

Oh shit this was THAT episode One of my favourites in the whole show. The soundtracks, the choreography, the actual strategizing behind the battle, everything was just insane. Also the name of the soundtrack at the end is called Dragon Force, might be the show's most popular OST... don't quote me on that tho lol And yeah starring from this episode stuff begins to get god tier... I love the next fight and the one after that so much too though 😭 and with that only 2 of the Seven Kin are left!!
