See that's actually a lie... a little information from the Novels. Btw it's not spoilers, because it should have been explained in episode 2 I think, but it wasn't so it will never appear in the Anime. But the reason Beldia was even there, was because the Demon King sensed a huge amount of Holy power, which was Aqua descending
