i doubt it's spoiler, and i also agree and think outside of fights this looks better and definitely much more refined IMO, however there's just a lot of majesty and overall a lot more... I guess movement...(?) in the old animation. there were a couple of battles/fight scenes i considered slightly underwhelming in terms of animation in the next arc but personally i don't mind it too much, i guess my problem might have been the length but i won't go into that because potential spoiler territory i don't really care too much about animation so i didnt mind too much, but like i said the old art style had a lot of majestic qualities to it but was fairly low resolution in my opinion... it's kind of like we got a trade with 2014, we got everything in much higher definition (HD) but lesser of that oomph like you stated

I personally found Gajeel to be a huuge upgrade. He looks goooood. ;D Most characters I think looks better in season 2. Purely in terms of design.

Makes sense why Achnologia was so strong. He was the dragon king, and as the Jade Dragon said, he killed all the dragons in the dragon graveyard. Imagine how powerful he would have to be to kill that many dragons, not just your average dragon.

Really thought you knew about the new studio :D Personally I think it looks prettier in this version outside of the battles, but the battles had more oomph in the old version. But as NovaSword said, there are a lot of differing opinions. I also personally think the first studio was more loyal to the pacing of the source material. But probably differing opinions there too. Either way all seasons are great. We are in for a wild ride :) Hopefully non of that is considered spoiler? Is just my opinons, could end up with you feeling completly different about it.

You can't really blame Arcadios for thinking Zeref caused everything. He's a very interesting character who's detached from humans for most of history, but the rest of the world doesn't know that. To the rest of the world, Zeref is the Legendary Black Wizard who invented Dark Magic, created countless demons which destroyed lands and towns (such as Gray's entirely family), and is known as the "evilest man in the history of the magic world". Kinda makes sense he'd speculate Zeref being involved with Acnologia. In reality we know Zeref's just been chilling on Tenroujima for a while but THEY don't know that

Animation studio changed this episode. Oh shit did no one tell Angel? This is actually counted as a different show by some people, and counted as a different season by others (myself included). Fairy Tail was on hiatus for a whole year and we got a different animation studio lol, there's uhh... a wide variety of opinions on the animation and art style of Fairy Tail season/series 2 lmao Edit: okay Angel knows about the switchup, I just thought you didn't know about the animation change lmao
