The delivery of the voice actress towards the end is so good. They usually spend over 1 year on each episode, so pretty sure episode 18 is still in the works. All around I way prefer the abridged version, I prefer the characters development and think the story makes more sense. The comedy is just a bonus. I appreciate there being actual character development, no offense to anyone who prefers the original. But I felt like most of the characters stayed the same the entire anime.
