Laharl's death caught me so off-guard. Like I didn't mess with him that much, something about the fact that he was pursuing and trying to arrest my favourite character throughout the course of the entire show kinda rubbed me the wrong way. But I didn't dislike him - he was a complex character who had good intentions and actually did wish for the prosperity of the Magic World, and he actually helped Doranbolt mentally move forward and get back on his feet after the Tenroujima incident. He was a pretty nice guy, his death was kinda sad for me honestly

The only thing that may get annoying is the pacing in this arc, as I know you sort of dislike recaps and unnecessarily long fights 😅 but I still stand behind the fact that the Tartaros arc is the best arc in the show hands down! Excited 🤩

Intro to this arc is so freaking fire man. Such a different feel in a show like FT.

OMG. Haven't even watched the video again. But so excited we have arrived at this arc. The anime studio did some slightly weird choices with repeat scenes (long summaries at start of episodes) + some repeat scenes in middle of episodes. That can be annoying, but if you skip those, I personally love this arc.
