Gray was also super blinded by grief, so was Natsu. He thought he lost Juvia and Natsu thought he lost Lucy, their first instinct with pain is rage, especially Natsu. Gray was dead set on killing Deliora after he killed his entire family, and dead set on destroying Tartaros after his father died. It's his natural response to grief, same with Natsu Also yes I do hate that mf made the Naruto and Sasuke comparison ๐

"I'm super surprised Gray's keeping up with Natsu right now" You need to remember how HUGE a buff Ice Devil Slayer Magic is against demons. This is the same Gray who was able to defeat Mard Geer with one attack, which not even Dragon Force Natsu could, and the same Gray that was able to defeat Tempester in like 20 seconds, someone Natsu was struggling with for like 5 episodes. I'm not saying that Gray > Natsu, but if Gray was to fight a demon and Natsu was to fight a demon there's a much higher chance that Gray would defeat it. Slayer magic in this show is extremely affective against the species it was created to slay - if Natsu wasn't a demon Gray would have had a lot more trouble with him

Since only Natsu could move in Dimariaโs frozen time space atm, and he wouldโve woken up and instinctively attacked her, the blood shouldโve come from Dimaria. But yeah since he didnโt know about her ability, to him Lucy was gone and anger took over like never before.

I tell you, I hated Gray for a long ass time after this. Nowadays Iโve gone into neutral territory. I get the demon slayer magic and what happened with juvia was impairing his mind, but damn. I still wanted this fight to have a certain conclusion I saw in a fanfic
