It’s a common occurrence in Japan and anime for younger characters to often speak in 3rd person, Juvia and mard geer do, though the latter does it in a more arrogant manner. Also I kinda wanna punch Ichigo for his comments on them not being real siblings is found family just a foreign concept to you Strawberry!? I mean most communities & families of the non soul reapers in the soul society are built around strangers and thus found family
