Worst thing about the cliff hanger is that they actually jumped ahead 3 volumes, the anime adapted vol.1-3 but that that scene is from the very end of Volume 6, there was no need for that kind of insane cliff hanger, they decided to put it in where it shouldn't be just because. Vol.6 is also the Volume that has been adapted into the movie as it's a single conclusive story pretty much separate from the rest of the series.
