copy paste from last time, i die on this hill xD: 1. "Black Lagoon" would have been my first pick, but it got 29ep with the cannon OVAs. Its in Modern times about a group of smuggler/pirates/odd jobs ppl using a torpedo boat in the south china sea. they do jobs for underworld ppl, mafia and such. Its pretty dark, gritty, gory and realistic in my option. but it got 2 scenes where they are for a short time in strip club for a meeting, you would need to censor the tiddys for youtube there. But is one of my fav shows of all time. Ton of action + gore and a anime portraying the dark underbelly of society. 2. "So I'm a Spider, So What?" is 24 ep. Isekai of a whole school class. The female Protagonist is reincarnated as a spider monster. Funny and cool combat sequences. 3. "Reincarnated as a Sword" is 12 ep. Isekai. Like the name suggests, a dude is reincarnated as a sword and found by a young slave catgirl that wants to become an adventurer. he takes her under his wing and becomes a father figure for her. Wholesome and cool action. New ones: 4. "Jormungand" gritty story about a female weapons trader and her crew. Awesome action and great character development. 5. "Gunslinger Girls" Story about young android girl that works as a Gunslinger. Can't really remember much, only that it broke my heart and it had great action. Re watching that one after Jormungand next.

For a lark on my part, Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It's a genuinely good show. I regretted avoiding it for a decade just because its genre isn't what I normally care for. 12 Episodes, 2 recap films (just watch their OP), 1 canon sequel film and one film on the way.
