The anime cut this line from the manga, but after Bazz B tanks Toshiro's vacuum ice, he tells him that the flames produced by the Heat are actually hot enough to offset Yamamoto's shikai flames, which is why he, As Nodt, and NaNaNa are still alive after getting blasted by him in episode 6.

Btw they dont explain it in the anime but Bazz B can put out enough heat and flames to block Yamamotos shikai
